Went in here awhile ago but never forgot to give them a review, I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese it tasted so old and bad I threw it out and to my suprise I had food poisoning that night. I hope this place shuts down.

This place has the best bagels in Forest Hills /Kew Gardens, which means the bagels are slightly crusty and chewy. If you don’t like chewy, go to the supermarket and buy a bag full of hamburger buns and put your lox and cream cheese on that. And don’t say you like bagels. The coffee is delicious. Everything else in this place is like every other place, not better, not worse.

Best bialys… throw eggs and soft bacon on it and you got the best breakfast sandwich in Queens. Friendly service.

The bagels are not as good as the previous owner’s. These are somewhat harder to chew.

Came here for the bialys, couldn’t believe how good to they are. That with the veggie cream cheese was really good. Very savory and not bland like other places I’ve been to(I’m not naming names lol). Plus the egg whites with asparagus and spinach was on point.

This is a very convenient place to grab bagels if you’re taking the subway towards JFK airport and someone has asked you to bring back some delicious NYC bagels. However, if you come later in the day, don’t be surprised if you get bagels that have been sitting around for a couple hours. If your flight is at 11 or 12PM, I would say you would get really fresh bagels at this location. At this place, something unique that I haven’t seen at other bagelries is a flat bagel. This, for lack of a better description, just looks like a normal bagel that has been run over by a car. It is flatter and toasts to a crispier texture than normal. Essentially, this bagel is designed to prevent people from asking for their bagels to be scooped and toasted, and I think it succeeds at this goal. If you get a dozen, make sure to ask them to split it into two bags so that both bags can be sealed shut for the long plane ride. PS. I’m not sure the bagels are made on site but still, whoever their source is, it is good

I ordered a whole wheat everything bagel toasted with the tofu veggie cream cheese. I was really looking forward to it and was really hoping to update with more stars. Everyone who works there is really nice so I really want to give them a good rating but the bagel just disappointed me. It was still pretty soft and relatively fluffy after being toasted, which was a nice surprise. Other than that, the bagel was just mediocre. For an everything bagel, it lacked taste. I love it when a veggie cream cheese has chunky pieces of veggies, or at least is packed with flavor… But this one lacked both. And it’s $ 1($ 4) more than the other place I go to. Unfortunately I can’t say this is my go to bagel spot.

An ok bagel place on Queens Blvd. Prices are ok, and bagels are tasty, but they don’t know the meaning of «a little» butter or cream cheese.

Hot, fresh bagels and delicious coffee — and the staff is so nice! We enjoyed their egg and cheese sandwiches too. This is an ideal place to pick up breakfast, especially during the week. GO!

Only bagel shop around my way that opens earlier than 6am. It a normal sized deli that serves all kinds of things including sandwiches. The bagels I believe they buy in bulk instead of making them in the back of the store which might explain why they run out of bagels so easily. Last time I went it was 5:45 am and most of the bagels I wanted were already sold out. If bagels is in your storefront name, it probably shouldn’t be the first thing that sells out. Just saying. I ordered 2 bagels with mix fruit cream cheese. The bagels were fresh and the filling was delish. Close to what I’d normally get from my regular bagel shop. Service was cordial. Conveniently located right outside a staircase leading down to the subway(E, F) this isn’t the worse place to get your morning fix. I’d still go here over Dunkin Donuts but only if I’m craving bagels. Will have to try their sandwiches next.

Safe to say – you’ll never be for want of selection. I’m not much of a risky bagel eater, plain or wheat is fine by me, but their bagels themselves are delicious, large, and can be incorporated for any of their 50,000 selections of food they have. Well, maybe not that much. If you are an anxious orderer, like me, let me tell you about how lovely this place is. I desperately needed a bagel something. Whatever it was I was eating for lunch, I needed a bagel with it. So upon entering the semi-hidden storefront, walking past their multiple sit-down tables, I was met with four or five boards on the wall with twenty options each. In the literal fifteen minutes I hung back and looked at the board, trying to balance my checkbook with my stomach, I never felt like I was in the way, and nobody gave me the evil eye for standing there looking pathetic, like some businesses are want to do. They are friendly, polite, their food is generous, their bagels are good, the line is never long when I go at 12ish, and for the anxious orderers – this is a good place in spite of its extensive menu.

Yay! Thy have garlic bagels. Rarely, do I go into a store, and on the shelf, they stock the garlic ones. I had tons of ham and a slice of American cheese on my bagel. It was delicious. I thought the prices were higher than most bagel stores, yet the taste was fresh and decent portion sized. I think my bagelwich came out to $ 6. Next time, I might just get ham, cheese, & eggs on two pieces of toast. This was only $ 4. In the freezing cold Friday, this was one of the few places open. I am sure glad they were in business. Plus, they have a functional bathroom.

Followup: When I arrived today a week later to reclaim the free bagel that was promised to me a mere week later, the server that had made the promise was no where to be found. Ordering the same item as I did the week prior(everything bagel toasted with cream cheese) I was greatly disappointed. Such a small layer of cream cheese on a bagel that could have been name a Nothing bagel. Totally sad to have two completely conflicting experiences.

I love this place, have been coming for many years. Excellent bagels, very comfortable atmosphere, excellent food and prices, excellent service. One thing it has which I find to be a rarity these days — excellent fresh tasting mild roast coffee, all day. (My one and only caveat: if you’re coming here because you assume that a place with«bialys» in the name has real, traditional, old-time bialys… you’d be disappointed. I mean they’re ok and all, but they’re not the classic bialy. It doesn’t really bother me. I’m more of a bagel person anyway)

Here’s what’s great: Bagels Whitefish Salad Egg Sandwiches Cream Cheese(s) Coffee The service Here’s what’s not good: I live in Dallas, TX and can’t get here more often. I’m a New Yorker that moved away to Texas a few years ago. I stumbled upon this joint looking for my NY bagel fix and got it! I wish I could go here more often.
