I went to pick up my purple velvet fedora and velvet blazer. Fedora shrunk and was bent completely out of shape WTF!!! They did a good job on my grey one which was a test. I’m beyond angry. I didn’t bother trying on the blazer to see if it shrunk but you can believe that this is the last time I use them.

They are a fine cleaner and tailor — nothing unique about them, up until they screw something up and wont fess up and make amends. I brought my nice brand new pricey suit jacket to them for a simple alteration, got it back and it was done wrong. I asked for the waist to be taken in and instead I got a tight fitting waist with some kind of a ballon puffing up around the shoulders. I know mistakes happen and shrugged it off and gave it back for them to fix their mistake. Came back yet again and this time the jacket was even WORSE. I nearly cried. It was horrible. The woman there just looked at me blankly, saw the problem agreed it was problem and then just stood there. After asking for some sort of resolution she offered to give me back 50%…50%!!! Keep in mind that I cant wear it at alll and will have to go elsewhere. After arguing that she finally gave me 100% of what I paid. I then quickly ran across the street to try and save this suit from ruin. And of course I now had to pay even more because the damage was extensive. Howard refused to pay for the damages. As if I somehow was responsible for the state of my suit jacket. Literally saying«its not our problem» and accussing me of «just want to take our money». Really??? Meanwhile I’m without a suit. After a lot of back and forth and an hour later they finally paid — only after I threatened to bring them to small claims court. Their customer service is appalling and they will happily smile at you to take your money but if they’re ever wrong they will do nothing or little to fix it. After 10 years I will no longer go there. They were willing to let go of a loyal customer over a few bucks despite their own error. Go with caution.
