Description

Specialties

Nestled into a cobblestone square just off Austin Street, Jade Eatery & Lounge Forest Hills Garden’s address hints at why Jade is said to be «Forest Hills best kept secret.» The Zen like atmosphere has inspirational quotes that adorn the walls, a serene koi pond, and a large Buddha statue smiling benevolently on diners to guide them towards the right entrée.

Our new executive chef, Froilan Seranas, brings his experience from Spice Market, Buddakan, and 11 Madison Park. He has been infusing flavors from Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian cuisine. His creativity to devise fresh combinations of flavor, texture, and his plating presentation evokes the senses of our guests. The kitchen staff displays razor-sharp knife skills behind a full sushi bar, preparing a selection of classic and signature makis, including the Rising Sun roll, which is said, can be eaten by anyone who has ever claimed to dislike sushi.

Designed to accommodate large groups, the Dharma Lounge provides a private venue with an open floor plan that offers flexibility in the layout, perfect for special events such as wedding receptions, commitment ceremonies, bar/bat mitzvahs, and corporate dinners. It has been elegantly appointed with top-of-the-line furnishings and accessories to offer a haven for its customers seeking something extraordinarily special.

Valet parking available.

History

Established in 2006.

Jade Eatery and Lounge, owned by the PRAVDA group, was a project that involved a multi-million dollar renovation of the former Forest Hills Inn, a staple of the prestigious Forest Garden’s charming private community. At 8,000 square feet (with a 3,000 square foot garden), Jade eatery and Lounge takes up the entire cobblestone block at the entrance of the gardens.
