I ignore the bitter, racist lady who works here to buy the delicious smoked salmon. The man treats Latinos with more respect and dignity.

The prices are a bit high for a bagel with cream cheese, but the sesame bagel with garlic herb cream cheese is superb. However, at $ 3.90 for a bagel, it’s not something that you’d want to get every day. I also enjoy the chocolate chocolate chip muffins because it is incredibly moist, chocolatey, & more reasonable at $ 2. I highly recommend Michael’s Bagels to anyone!

This is my favorite neighborhood bagel place. The cinnamon raisin spread is delicious and they do not add sugar but said good stirring releases raisin sweetness and it does. I especially like healthy turkey bagel sandwich on scooped out everything bagel(like to minimize carbs and with no complaints) with crisp fresh lettuce, tomato, onion. It is cash only place but like the proprietors and have found employees to be friendly. A small no frills place but clean and enough space for a quick bagel sandwich and ice coffee then off to other things. They have lox, whitefish, tuna, vegetable and all usual spreads, cream cheeses. The bagels, bialys are always fresh. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

There a quite a few bagel places in Forest hills, but this place has the freshest and best bagels and bialys i have tried in FH. A little pricey but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. Try a bagel toasted with your favorite spread, you will not be disappointed.

As good as it gets! I’m in here all the time fattening up for the winter months. You gotta pack on the fat while you can before it’s too late.

smaller bagel than Gotta Get A Bagel and more expensive too. when I feel lazy, I pop in here because it is nearer to me. I usually get the everything with plain cream cheese.

I take everything bagels very seriously and nothing irritates me more than an under seeded everything bagel. The bagels here are loaded with seeds, and my husband loves the flavored cream cheeses. I agree with the other reviews though that the owner is rude and cash only is beyond aggravating. Its a little pricey for a bagel as well considering the place is is pretty no frills.

Want to have a stale bagel thrown at you by a rude proprietor? This is your kind of dump. A bagel costs $.90. Add a small shmear of butter and it’s now $ 1.75. Stay away. You have been warned.
