The Gardens Eye Care is a little gem. As if visiting a top optometrist and her friendly assistant wasn’t enough, Dr. Ellent carries the most gorgeous selection of eyewear that I’ve seen anywhere. And to top it all off, the entire selection is exclusive to TGEC! It’s amazing to know that I won’t see my glasses on ten other people when walking down the street.

The best eye doc everrrr !!! Great for kids and adults alike. She is very patient and does a thorough job at what she does. Highly recommend her she’s awesome !!!

What a great place!!! I have never been to an eye doctor that explained so much to me in one visit. I spent more than an hour in there (which was great). She explained why my eyes were the way they were and even showed me my eye muscles. Which doctor shows that to you these days?! And to top it off, the environment was very friendly and clean. I would definitely go back and tell others about it. Keep up the great job.

Took my 6 year old son. The entire experience, from start to finish, was stellar for both my son and me. Dr. Ellent is knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. She had a great rapport with my son and explained everything along the way for me. The office is lovely and the office staff is welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone.

Dr. Rita was clear, nice and explain the process. Took time did not feel rush at all, even though I took my 2 years old boy with me;).

I went here a few months ago to have my eyes examined and change my current glass frames with a new prescription for the changes to my eyes. I picked this place through my insurance, after making the rounds thru F. Hills and having bad experiences at other places but I won’t mention any names here. I almost don’t want to write too much of a glowing review b/​c this place is new and I don’t want it to get crowded like the other shops which I’ll never set foot in again.
It’s off the beaten path and you might miss it, if you don’t look carefully around for this hidden gem. The atmosphere at this place blows all the other places away. It’s a very clean, modern, sophisticated, spacious and relaxed environment where they aren’t in a big rush to get you out the door. It also looks pretentious but it isn’t, it’s just classy and different for an eye shop. It’s like going to a nice restaurant instead of a fast-​food joint. They have a wide variety of frames you can buy which certainly aren’t cheap but if you have a good vision insurance plan like I do, there are some discounts. There aren’t a bunch of families with screaming kids running around either. There was one other person there but they went by the time of my appt so I didn’t wait long. I would say it’s the kind of place you’d go as an adult, it’s definitely not recommended for young children or families to hang out in.
The eye exam was very thorough, professional and they have state of the art equipment. Rita Ellent was really nice, knowledgeable and recommended things for me to do to keep my eyes in good shape.
The assistant, Vanessa was also very sweet, knowledgeable and helpful. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for my current frames to be re-​done with the new prescript but when I came back to pick them up, she took her time with me. She very thoroughly measured the glasses to make sure the prescript was correct and they looked alright on me. She gave me a kit of info about the new frames and wipes for the lenses. She also explained thoroughly what company they use and how they will look when I have them on. It was almost like having brand new glasses even though it was an old pair I’m very comfortable with.
After that part of my visit was finished, I started looking around for a new pair of glasses and tried frames on for a while. I considered buying new frames but I decided not to at that time. But again, Vanessa took her time helping me try frames on, giving me her opinion and what the frames cost. and I was never rushed which I appreciate. I now have an idea when I’m ready what frames I would buy for the next time. Very highly recommended eye shop.

I have seeing Dr Ellent for many years even before she opened her own practice and was always very happy with the treatment that I have been getting there. She is very experienced and knowledgeable and I would recommend her without hesitation. Dr. Ellent is great with adults and kids equally!
