The Dr. who treated me was great, I still can’t understand why with only 2 people in the waiting room,(including myself), and with making an appointment, i still had to wait. The only reason why i went back is because now that i know how they operate, i only use them for certain precuders. When it comes to my reg. eye checkup, I’ll go someplace else. At least i won’t get ripe off when they charge me for my prescription. Oh and by the way, watch out for the ants, in their bathrooms, !!!, I kidda had to wipe of the sink full of ants near the wash area, they were kidda in the way.

The doctor I saw was nice and knowledgable. The billing and reception departments are clueless. I made an appointment for the Rego Park location but they scheduled me for the manhattan location. The worst part is they charge you $ 50 for your prescription. They said insurance doesn’t cover the cost for writing a prescription which is not true. My wife, who has the same insurance, got a new prescription for contacts from another doctor a few months ago and was not charged $ 50. When I questioned them, the receptionist threatened to take back my prescription for glasses! Why would I go to them for an eye exam if I didn’t want the prescription to fix my vision. Pretty sure I got ripped off. For this reason they get 1 star. There are lots of great eye doctors in the NYC area. If you don’t like throwing away your money go somewhere else.

My daughter has been coming here for the past year or so. Doctors are great. However, the wait time is totally ridiculous. Over an hour wait with appointment. It doesn’t even matter what time of day either. 9:45am appointment and now it’s 11:15am and still waiting. This is absolutely unacceptable especially with kids. I’m changing doctors. Update: it’s now 11:45am and still waiting. Waiting for 2 hours?!. Complaint to the front desk and they told me my daughter is next. Then this guy raised both arms with palms facing up and said«sorry». This is very unprofessional

Doctors here are absolutely awesome — I normally don’t go to queens location but had emergency and they took me right away. The downside is the receptionist service — been there twice and one day their service was okay, the other day it was just so awful. They even wrote my next appt time & date, yet they didn’t punch in the system. I showed up for my appt, sure enough, «oh, we don’t have you in the system, you need to make another appt and come back» WHAAAAAT??? They finally let me wait… for hours before seeing the doc, but they never apologize or even acknowledge that they made mistake. Ha! So receptionists and admins pushed the grade down.
