Manager

In 1958, a police officer named James Faust saw the need for auto security products with the increased level of auto thefts. He started moonlighting installing and manufacturing these devices. He became so busy, he decided to quit his police job and open retail installation centers under the name abc. Mr. Faust had sold the company to his two sons in 1989. Jim and john now operate the stores. They have broadened their products to mostly anything automotive other than repair.

Was worried when I heard it was first come first serve and prepared myself to be there for 5 hours or more.
Arrived around 10 am and saw a full shop along with a full garage. I was assured that it is normally a 2 – 3 hour job to install this particular remote start.
The front desk checked me in quickly and showed me to the waiting room. I took off for a walk about 35 – 45 minutes into the wait and my truck was already in the garage. When I came back the front desk told me that I was almost done! I was surprised.
When I paid my bill and checked out the remote start I was extremely satisfied. I could go into a product review but this is more about the shop. I’d recommend ABC to friends and family. Two thumbs up!

So I went back today and spoke with Tony again. This time I was only there just a little over half an hour. Everything was fixed and my remote starter seems to be working properly now. I gave three stars this time because although I’m not happy that I had to go back two days, I can’t however say that they were rude. I have to admit that they treated me with respect and like I said were never rude. Just wish it would have been done right the first time.

This company did the window tints on my car. I have taken my car to them twice and it still was not done properly. The first time the windows tints had bubbling in it. I took it back for them to repair it and it looks like they did patchwork on my windows. I am still trying to get my windows fixed through this company. Very dissatisfied!

This place sucks. They try n suck every dime and nickel out of you and pretend they will take care of you. Completely over charge and if anything goes wrong with the equipment you are basically screwed. They give you a warranty but will charge you $ 45 just to check out the problem. Don’t bother getting anything from here. I purchased a radio and asked them to check out the problem I was having and they basically guessed what the problem was and tried to sell me a new radio and speakers because they didn’t want to check it out. I repeat you will get shafted coming here. And they’re rude. Will never buy anything from here again.

Recently went in to have an alarm and remote start put on my new truck. John F. has to be one of the most helpful people I’ve ever met. He spent time explaining all my options and answered all the questions I could think of. I also had them run through the accessories that were installed prior to my purchase. They gave me a run down on what worked, fixed what didn’t and provided me some great options for the future.
Couldn’t be happier with the customer service and quality of work!
Highly recommended!

Tony is a rude jerk. I called, he placed me on a three minute hold, then hung up on me. I called back, he said «I think I hung up on you» and didn’t even apologize. I tried to be patient and asked for basic information about remote car start installation, and like a previous reviewer said, got really generic information and hung up on me. Why would I ever go there for business when treated so rudely on the phone?!

My remote start (not installed by them) was no longer working, I called they said it was $ 45 to have it checked out. So I brought the car there, they called and said it was just the remote that was not working. And the remote was $ 59. So I thought great, it was just the remote and the were going to replace it. BUT when I got there to pick up the car, he charged me for the remote and to have it checked out. I didn’t think it was fair to charge me for the having it checked out when it was only the remote. Uggg, was not too happy. I’m sure they checked the remote first.

I recently went into the location to have a new stereo, Sirius XM and Amplifier installed. I had a quote from the competitor which they price matched. Install was completed within a few hours. Very happy with overall experience at ABC. I always encourage my friends to come out to ABC for any of their automotive electronic needs.

Ok, as far as a ‘company being in business for 50+ years’ doesn’t mean everyone’s experience is going to be perfect. I do understand mistakes happen but, on the other hand your techs should have double checked their work. I should not have had to come back several times before I was completely satisfied. I also did not receive a ‘follow up’. It was fully functional after I had to make several trips back. What made me decide to change my mind and get it uninstalled was the part where your staff broke my steering column cover and did not tell me. Sorry, that’s not how business is done and if that’s the way you conduct business then I’m not the customer for you.

After 2 days and driving to 4 different places to get my HIDs replaced, I was referred to Tony at ABC — not only did they have everything my car needed, they were able to take me right away on a Saturday morning, no appointment. Prices were fair, service excellent (with a sense of humor) and I was in and out in a flash (and they were pretty busy!). They even used the bulbs I had bought elsewhere. I also got a fair quote on a remote starter.
I will most certainly be back! These guys are the best!

So far so good. Really wanted to upgrade Vue radio for iPod use. Walked in at 9am when they opened, the guy knew exactly what I was talking about. Best Buy quoted us 50% more. The Vue makes it complicated as the radio is tied to the car’s computer system. Best not to go to Best Buy. These guys have the best prices and are experts. Getting my new Kenwood installed on Monday. Yay! Will write a follow-​up review once complete.
