Description

Specialties

We specialize in authentic Mexican entrees with a hint of modern tastes and flavor. From our various mole sauces, our traditional Yucatan-style cochinita pibil, all the way to our tacos modernos, you’re sure to find something that your taste buds will love.

History

Established in 2014.

In 2012, we began a dream to bring true, authentic, and traditional flavors of Mexican cuisine to the western suburbs of Chicago. That dream came to reality with our first restaurant, Aguamiel, in downtown Clarendon Hills. Continuing to dream, we have brought our passion here to Forest Park. Here you will find the same flavors, taste, aromas, and love for the art of cooking that we remember fondly coming from our grandmother’s kitchen; passed down from generation to generation. Now we would love to share them with all of you.

Meet the Business Owner

Sylvia J.

Business Owner

Restaurant business runs through her veins, a 3rd generation restauranteur, she began working in the family business at the age of 14 years of age. Sylvia worked under the guidance and alongside the company of her family at Santa Fe Restaurant in downtown Glen Ellyn. That began the origin of her passion for excellent food, attentive service, and exquisite cocktail creations.

24 years later, she has founded, Il Sogno Ristorante in Wheaton and Aguamiel Restaurante in Clarendon Hills.

Sylvia believes in quality, complexity, and, most importantly, in the love to create and share with others her passion for her culture and history in the most exquisite, appealing way; through the culinary art.

Her goal is not only to have patrons but create friendships; friends that join her dining room to enjoy a great day. She has been featured in the Hungry Hound and «n» channel 7’s documentary in up and coming Latin entrepreneurs.
