I found this shop very pretentious. The owner was so busy talking with her employees she couldn’t be bothered, however once I wanted to try something on, she was down my throat with overly aggressive sales techniques. What made things worse was that she constantly told me about this is a french xxx, but when I read the labels in the fitting room, none were made in France, some in US and MOSTLY CHINA! I recall her from Ananas, and she was the same there, I don’t find much variety or unique items. I dont expect to go back as I felt like the FRENCH spin on everything was a complete lie. When I don’t trust, I dont shop, therefore, I walked out.

Walking into this shop, I felt like I was in Manhattan, with the friendliness of the Midwest and the prices of a Chicago retailer. Nothing was exceptionally pricey, but what I like best about this shop is the quality of the fabrics, the workmanship, the style. From the jewelry to clothes and purses, everything is well made and of the finest fabrics. The sweater selection is amazing right now and one is more gorgeous than the next. Whether it’s a tank, a dress, a sweater, a necklace — it’s well made and worth the price tag.

If you haven’t made your way into Manouche, you’re missing out on a gem! The selection is well currated. The styles and fabrics are beautiful. You’ll have a hard time narrowing down your selections! In addition to apparel, there’s a wide range of great accessories (jewelry, handbags, scarves, and hats). The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The shop hosts a variety of special events (trunk shows, fashion trend events, etc) as well.

What a fabulous gem just outside of the city limits! Each time I go into Manouche I find something to fall in love with. My latest obsession is with the lovely leather bags there. The leathers are so soft, the colors rich, and the designs are unique but refined. The owner, Kim has done a wonderful job at finding well made, and very stylish objects of desire. A great place to find a one of kind gift. The space is warm and inviting, and always smells fabulous! Bonus, there’s a separate gallery of fun objects in the back half of the space. Bottom line, this is location worth making multiple visits too if you’re a accessory (and clothing) junky like myself! Go treat yourself.
