Fresh from being completely blown away by the quality of the bolillo roll we were served next door at La Cocina de Mama, we just had to stop in and see where it came from. Panaderia La Potosina is a small neighborhood bakery with an array of Mexican baked goodies,(I swear they have fresh baked cupcakes that are as big as a softball), cold drinks, an ice cream bar and a large selection of religious candles and pinatas. It’s a nice place to stop in for some ice cream after lunch(I got a scoop of strawberry), get some hot chocolate from the Nestle machine they have, or to enjoy one of their sinfully enormous pastries. It’s also the place I will go from here on out to buy my bread for tortas even though there are at least five places closer to the house where I could stop. Seriously, their bread is that good!
