I wanted to provide an update from my previous review regarding America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses. About a month or so ago, I was seen in the Oxon Hill location which unfortunately was disappointing but after reaching out to the Corporate office; that’s when things started to turn around. I received a call from John(District Manager) who was very sympathetic with my experience with the Oxon Hill location. He reassured me that everything will be taken care of. A few minutes later, I received a voice message from Daniel(Manager at Forestville location). Who had set up an appointment for me to be seen in his location(Friday, May 27). With his best effort, I had to reschedule due to conflict with my work schedule. Appointment was sent Sunday, May 29, 2016. Arrived at Forestville location. Immediately upon entering the door, I was greeted with a smile and was seated. About 20 minutes later, I was seen by the Technician. I had informed him that I was previously seen in Oxon Hill. To my amazement, he already had my medical chart from Oxon Hill. I was asked to have a seat in the lobby. Waited for about 5 minutes, then was called to see Dr. Lee. She was awesome. She took her time with the examination and explained everything to me in detail. Once Dr. Lee was done, she escorted me out to one of the Technician(I can’t seem to remember her name). She was smiling the entire time I was there. I was asked to come back the next day(Memorial Day) to meet with the Store Manager so he can assist me further. Came back the next day and met with the Donald(Assistant Manager). Remember John(District Manager). He issued a full refund and had a pair of glasses made for me free of charge. Donald stated that it will take at least 7 – 10 business days before I can receive the pair of glasses. The order was placed on May 30, 2016(Memorial Day). I wasn’t expecting the glasses until after 2 weeks but I received another voice message at work on June 3, 2016 informing me that my pair of glasses is ready for pick-up. I thought there was a mistake so I made a call to the Forestville location. spoke with the receptionist, once again; the staff was very friendly. It was confirmed that the pair of glasses was indeed ready for pick-up. I arrived around 6:30 pm. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile. I was asked the nature of my visit and I had indicated I received a call stating my eyeglass is ready. Staff immediately asked me to have a seat. She found the glasses and cleaned it thoroughly before handing it to me. She made some minor adjustment and I CANFINALLYSEEAGAIN! If anyone ever needs a pair of glasses or contact lens, I encourage you to please go to the Forestville location. The entire staff(from the Receptionist, Doctor, Technician, Management) will provide each and everyone with EXCEPTIONAL, OUTOFTHISWORLD, customer service. And if you do decide to go to the Forestville location, and experience the warmth and friendliness of each staff; please take a few moment of your time and give them the prop they deserve. Walked in for an eyeglass repair. Was greeted at the door and immediately seated. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The person who fixed my glasses(re-inserted the lens that had fallen out) did it in less than five minutes! Then he showed me how simple it was to repair. I definitely recommend this place!

Purchased my daughter’s glasses from this store. Everything went without a hitch. Fast, courteous and professional service. When we went to pick up my daughter’s glasses, she was displeased with the style of one pair. The staff there promptly replaced the glasses with another pair without cost or hesitation. I will definitely return.

My dad dislodged both of his lenses from his eyeglass frame. I took his eyeglasses to the nearest store and it happened to be America’s Best in Forestville. When I was asked whether the eyeglasses were purchased from this store, I couldn’t say yes as they were purchased from Hour Eyes in NWDC. Despite not being able to confirm purchase from America’s Best, the lady there not only efficiently fixed the eyeglasses, she cleaned them and gave me a free case. Great experience and awesome customer service!
