Dazzled by Twilight

Out of business, apparently.
It was closed when we went on a Sunday early afternoon, so we inquired across the street at Native to Twilight and were told Dazzled had closed down.

Let’s start this off by saying: Twilight is massively overrated with no succinct plot or viable characters.
But the store was awesome.
You walk in, past the annoyed boyfriend on the bench, and are in a forest with a legit grass carpeting. There was a cool high school locker set-​up and beautiful paintings on the walls.
The «adult» section was a joke though. The product they had in there was as risqué as a Muppet Baby but the rest of the store was cool.
Oh and besides the one boyfriend the gender breakdown is: single, tweenagers and larger housewives.

Yes it’s the best store in the Universe; No I’m not being sarcastic; Yes Edward was there, shopping for Bella’s birthday gift; No Jacob is not the best choice for Bella.
Kitschy to say the least; it’s cool to see a shop like this in a quaint town surrounded by beautiful tree country. They play the Twilight films over and over in the back, the decorations are kind of interesting and well put together. The prices are nuts, but people are willing to pay, and that’s the whole point.
Good for them; too bad it’s only going to be like 5 movies and not a 10-​ilogy. Good luck to this store in the future. I can’t say I’ve experienced a better Twilight based store in Washington state before this.

The store itself was pretty cool. To spend $$ there — not so much. I couldn’t get myself to spend more than $ 5 there. I bought two pens ($ 2.50 each) two weeks ago and the print on the pens are already fading away.
But yes, cool tree and I’m glad I got to visit the place.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Never order if here! They steal your money and never send you your items. Placed and order through the website, took my money and I got nothing. Check their Facebook page and see the complaints! They don’t answer emails or the phone. Horrible!

Went to Dazzled By Twilight last Sept. 2010 and it was AMAZING! There was so much product in the store you had to squeeze between the racks! We got to meet the owner Annette who we absolutely loved!
This year was so shocked to see barely any product in the store… nothing like it was last year… almost looked like they are just selling off any inventory they still may have on hand.
We were told, Annette the owner no longer lives in Forks… maybe this is why the store is like this now? Not sure, but still love Annette… just sad to see the reason the town of Forks came back to life (thanks to Annette and her love for Twilight) seems to be dying itself. :(
Truly hope this is not the case.

Ok when we finally got to Forks I saw this on the Internet before I drove in and knew after the 4 hour drive from Seattle that this was going to be my first stop!
I was a little disappointed…
When you first walk into the store you think cool!!! It is decorated pretty cool-​but then you start looking through the stuff and see everything is XXXL (I wear a S, M) they were kind of made out of junky cheap material and they only had unisex shirts…(Twilight Central Near Forks High School has woman sized/​styled shirts… it is the better store I went to in town) I couldn’t buy anything in this store… they also had junky stuff that looked homemade that you could make at home. Like people printed things off their printer and sold it.
I will say the staff was nice enough nothing super nice-​they did not seem that interested in Twilight even though they worked at a store dedicated to the books and movies. One thing that irked me is my friend went back into the store to confirm some locations after he was given a map (he bought a lot stuff… he is a big guy 6’3″ and was able to buy a lot of the super big sizes)…she told him «Well everything is in the book»…well sorry I did not pack/​bring all four of my books on this trip!
Go to Twilight Central… you can skip being Dazzled by Twilight

Great shop for all your Twi-​Geek needs!!! The smaller store has some neat pieces as well, so go to ALL the stores if you can, some of them have things you can’t find at the other stops. If you’re in Forks for the whole afternoon, go to all the stores and price check first that way you can make note of which store has which items for cheaper (it’ll save you a lot if you’re careful). I was a little surprised that I found some items at a Blockbuster video in Bremerton that I could not find here (hats, sandals, etc). I don’t know how much $$$ I spent on Twilight stuff (a lot of it was pretty pricey) but I got everything I came for.

Great selection of Twilight merch and very awesomely themed. However the sales guy was kinda awkward, unfriendly and didn’t seem to even be a fan of Twilight despite working in a Twilight gift shop.
If you’re not a fan, at least fake it. It’s crazy fans like us driving up from San Diego, CA keeping you in business.

This place is awesome. It is Twilight Central and I bet they have everything you could think of! I love how themed the whole place is, the décor is very unique and totally ties in with the Twilight series.
We spend a good while looking at every little thing and taking pictures. I especially loved how they have the gazebo where Bella and Edward danced in there. We all took pics with edward and jacob cutouts. it was Very cool!
They have everything twilight here from your basic clothes to makeup, to coffee and tea! I spent so much money here! I bought this really cool vegetarian vampire shirt and shotglasses, keycovers, sweatshirts, mugs… you name it, i probably bought it. I even went back after our Twilight Tour and spent more money!

This is strictly a review of the tour ONLY. It is a complete waste of your money. You can easily Google all of the locations and drive around the town yourself to see them. It’s not like Forks is that big of a town… just saying. Save yourself the $ 40.

Who knew I needed an Edward thong? jk.
I haven’t read Twilight or seen the movies but my friend visiting from out of town is a die hard fan. (Twi-​hard?)
We drove all around the upper NW corner of the state stopping in at stores and places that had anything to do with Twilight. Of course we had to stop here too! The town of Forks is much less impressive than I was expecting but this is the store you’ll want to visit if you need a Forks T-​shirt, shotglass, lighter or magnet. They’ve got it all!

Certainly the epitome of Twilight stores. They have a LOT of items to choose from. Over priced but that’s hardly surprising. We didn’t spend very much of our time in Forks Twi-​seeing but the hour or so that we browsed thru Dazzled was fun.
We took pictures with the cardboard cutouts they have all over the place. The one of me kissing Jacob is one of my favorites of the whole trip. They have a ridiculous number of Tshirts but I was excited to find a baseball shirt which I prefer. I wear larger than normal sizes and was surprised to find that they have several styles of their shirts in sizes above XL.
The baseball shirt is like the ones worn in the baseball game in Twilight and it says Cullen Vampires in the place where the team name usually is. I love it. I also picked up a cute keychain and magnet.
The Thriftway grocery store at the south end of town also has a corner of Twilight souvenirs. They have some good stuff there and we grabbed a couple of fun signs.

As someone who does not care for Twilight at all and thinks that the fan mania is inexplicable and embarrassing for society, this store is admittedly pretty cool. I was really impressed by how well done the decorations were. The employees do seem very nice, approachable and seem to enjoy their jobs. The collection of merchandise seems extensive although I wasn’t looking to buy anything in particular anyway. It’s just surprising how many things you can plaster Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner’s faces on. I’d recommend it for anyone passing through Forks

This place really is the one stop shopping for anything and everything Twilight related. I love that you can find something for everyone here. They have hand made goods, lovely jewelry and officially licensed products.
AND THE STORE LOOKS COOL!
You really do feel like you’re in a Twilight book here which is awesome. The front part of the store has artificial grass on the floor which was really cool. You can take a photo with the stand ups in the gazebo and fan girl with the people that work there. Everyone is friendly and helpful too!
The store is really fun but everything is SO overpriced. I usually get stuff from the Thriftway.

Lame lame lame! If you drove five hours you just wasted a little part of your life.

This is like a candy store for Twilight fans!
The staff is really nice! There are some really funny t-​shirts that they have:
«Edward can: bust my headboard, bite my pillows, and bruise my body anyday!»

This place is awesome, when you walk in you feel like you are walking into the forest. They have it decorated that way with fake trees and all. It was adorable.
The selection of twilight stuff was unreal. I happy to say that I bought my first twilight shirt from there, w00t w00t!!!
The sales girl behind the counter was really sweet and helpful. Well everyone really was helpful.
They have a guest book you sign when you leave, it is so cool, you see all the people that travel from all over to get to Forks, Including me!
I signed my name Lisa Cullen, lol. Love it!!! I know I’m a twilight junkie, I know i know … grow up, right?

Verdict: A place to see!

Anything you could possibly want or need with the Twilight logo tacked on.
«Twilighter» BIC lighters, «Quileute tribal jewelry,» wolf medallions, Twilight camping blankets… you name it, they have it.
I was hoping they would have something awesome that I can’t find easily elsewhere… ie: Movie replica Cullen baseball jerseys and caps, namely, but no such luck. If anyone happens to chance across movie accurate jerseys please let me know, btw :)
Everything was overpriced, as you’d imagine it would be – and the t-​shirts look kind of crappy for the most part. The one saving grace? My «JASPER SAYS RELAX,» shirt. Yeah I’d totally drive 7 hours all over again for that shirt.
Maybe check out Lake Pleasant Grocery for some more unique stuff — namely the awesome «Team (name)» knit beanies! But if you’re a Twihard, this is a place you ~have~ to go!

The store is fine and the owners moved here from Vancouver, no idea where they were b4 that. I’ve been in there once and only then because I went to talk to the owner.
Just commenting on why we locals stare… it’s not because we haven’t seen Asians before it’s because we all think you (all Twilighters) are nuts for coming all the way from anywhere to visit Forks because of a few books and or movie/​s. We are nice because it’s our nature but still we don’t understand why you all keep coming.
