Intex Electrical Contractors in Forney, TX was founded in 1983. Intex is an electrical contractor that specializes in service, new construction, special projects, repairs and installs for new and old construction. We’re a full-​service electrical contractor specializing in all kinds of electrical repairs, all types of installations including panels, ceiling fans, smoke detectors, surge protectors recessed lighting, GFCIs, circuit diagnosing & repairing, new construction wiring and going green.

Gregory B.

Business Owner

Gregory B has been in the electrical field since 1976. He founded Intex Electrical Contractors, Inc. in November, 1983 at the young age of twenty-​one. He has served as President of Intex Electrical from 1983 through today. Gregory holds a valid Master’s License in the State of Texas and is currently the chairman of the Texas Electrical Safety Licensing Advisory Board and has held this position since its inception in 2002.

He is active in trade organizations including a two year term as President of the Dallas Chapter of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association (IEC) in 1997 – 1998. He served as the State of Texas IEC Chapter President from 2001 to 2002. Gregory is also involved in the IEC’s political efforts regionally and nationally as the Governmental Affairs Chairman for the past decade.
