Ate lunch there just this week. Upon entering the front door we could hear voices but no one in sight until we got beyond the cash register. The only employee was engaged in a conversation at a table, just chit chat, with some customer friends apparently. She managed a, «sit wherever you want» so we found our table. She managed to get us menus and table settings and took our drink order. Water and coffee delivered after a few minutes, and she told us Leslie would be our server. After several minutes, still only the 1 couple in the seat near us were occupied, Leslie appeared at our table. She had been busying herself behind the counter for some time. Her countenance and table presence made it obvious that she is a graduate of the Jeffrey Dauhmer school of personality improvement. Orders taken and off she went. Time went by… more time than I would have expected for an order of soup and salad and a daily«special». About this time the only other couple in the place left, leaving us as the only patrons in the place at lunch time. Food delivered unceremoniously by someone other than our waitress. She did finally reappear several bites into the meal with an offer of a coffee refill, It was«freshly brewed» and pretty awful tasting, but it was hot. I just state the facts when I do a review. The«special» was Meat Loaf sandwich with fries. I must say, it was rather tasty and the fries were hot and pretty good as well. I especially liked the BBQ sauce topping on the meatloaf. It was a nice touch. It also came with some marinara on it and was served on a sub roll. It was ample in size and with just a little parmasean sprinkled on it by my request, it was actually quite good. My only complaint would be that is makes no sense to me to serve an open-faced sandwich that must be eaten with a knife and fork on a paper sandwich wrapper in a plastic basket like a burger. This was not going to be picked up and eaten with ones hands. Sorting out the bits of paper from each bite began to be problematic. If i return, I will order it again but will specify a real plate. My wife had ordered Chicken noodle soup of the day and a garden salad with ranch dressing. I tasted the dressing and it was either home made or a good representation thereof. The salad was fresh and tasty and she liked the soup as well. Priced as reasonable, all in all, the food was pretty good, the ambiance clean and interesting, the time, food to table, was a bit slow given the lack of other clientele.(And BTW, during our meal, one other wait person came on duty and about 3 other couples came in to have lunch) The waitress is going to go broke serving tables with that unfriendly attitude and she reflects poorly upon the establishment. Frankly, the hostess, who was too busy chatting when we arrived and who ultimately checked us out at the cash register, was not a real plus to the place either. Serving food to people who come into your establishment is a business. Good business people make a point of sending their customers out the door with a burning desire to return soon. We will probably go back one more time to be certain and to be fair. Stay tuned.

Great food and the service is usually spot on and the daily specials are always a great deal when you’re in a hurry for a quick lunch or if you would like an intimate dinner on a budget or they also have their high-end steaks available as well every day and a microbrewery

The breakfast food was awesome and reasonably priced. I would give it 4 stars but this place still thinks it’s acceptable for people to smoke indoors and a lot of customers were taking advantage of this. I was overwhelmed by the cigarette stench the second we walked in. The bar is located in the center and full of smokers so the«non smoking section» really just means you aren’t getting quite as much second hand smoke. Ick. Service was acceptable but if you want breakfast don’t go in close to 11 because they get really pushy, though in a fairly friendly way about getting your order in before 11. I would expect that from McDonalds or some large fast food chain but not necessarily here. Quick and friendly, so that’s good. If they would do away with the smoking it would be a great place!

There really wasn’t anything to be excited about here. The restaurant seems to be understaffed. We waiting a very long time for our appetizers, refills, and entrees. It was also disheartening to see some of the employees outside smoking while our server was running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off. When the(hostess?) brought out our appetizers she dropped the basket of fried pickle spears and we had to wait an additional five minutes or so for the kitchen to cook a new order, and in my opinion the manager should have comp’d that item. The food was pretty decent. The portions were large. I may have given them an additional star if it hadn’t taken so long for everything. Word of advice to the owners: Spend more time training your employees, and hire an adequate staff.

Food is pretty good, great steak specials. Service SUCKS! Understaffed big time! Tables are sticky. One time I got a ‘loaded’ sweet potato and they put sour cream on it… really? I go back cuz it’s close and it’s steak. My sister LOVES their Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast.

I got a steak here and it was really good! I thought the food was great, my husband though it was ok. But when we are in Branson we don’t really like to go to chain restaurants so, that means we go to some places with some weird looking food! But this place the food was good and the beer was good and service was great! nice patio too!
