Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Atkinson

We have stayed at this hotel a few times while visiting family in the area. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are clean, even behind the doors and in the corners. The towels are fluffy and the beds are super comfortable. It’s hard for me to sleep in a hotel but I never have a problem on their beds. The hotel is close to the interstate but it must be insulated well because we never notice it. You are also in walking distance to food and although there is a fitness room on site they have a deal with snap 24 hour fitness where you can use their facilities for free which is a nice perk. I would have given it 5 stars but the breakfast is not good at all! I’m sure all the pastries were good but I in fortunately can’t have them. The hot food was really bad. The eggs were powdered and tasteless, the sausage and bacon were greasy, and my husband unsuccessfully tried to eat the B&G. He said it was horrible. So in short stay at the hotel. Go out for breakfast!

Stayed here for the night after attending the Fireside Dinner Theater. This hotel isn’t far from the theater and theater-​goers are offered a special discounted rate. Desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and well equipped with mini fridge and microwave. The beds, pillows and bedding were simply dreamy! The free breakfast was tasty and there was a nice selection of hot and cold items. I would stay at this property again.

This is a well run and managed chain hotel.
I stayed here over Thanksgiving for a few days to be near family. Room was kept nice and clean and the staff seemed friendly. Breakfast included eggs and bacon which is what I look for. They were of the processed variety but nice and hot.
A couple of quibbles. The heat is the type that goes on and off with quite a bit of noise. Why can’t these hotels get split duct so the noise is outside? It must be a dog-​friendly hotel because I heard a couple of yips one night, but not too bad.
Nothing special but ok.

We stayed here for the Jefferson County Fair, and it was a great hotel. Staff was awesome, especially Tammy! They work very hard to make sure the guests are happy, and accomodated in every way.
Clean and freshly remodeled, actually they are still remodeling.
Plenty of parking for cars, and buses, Close to lots of food options, if you want to walk.

I stayed here for a few days last yr while in Fort on business and was pleasantly surprised. I’d never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before. I rediscovered my love of swimming from my childhood in the Holiday Inn Express’ pool and have been swimming constantly in Manhattan ever since. The sheets in my room were really nice and the bathrm amenities were first-​rate. I’d love to buy a big bottle of their shampoo and conditioner. The staff was lovely as well.
I have to subtract one star from an otherwise perfect experience. I got a little food poisoning from the eggs in the free breakfast buffet my first morning – stick to the carbs!!!
