Specialties

We are a six pack charter boat located on the beautiful coast of Mendocino, Ca. We offer Salmon, Lingcod, Rockfish and crab trips, as well as Whale watching tours and private charters. Our fishing vessel, the «Samurai», is a 32′ Radovich with all of the amenities of a big boat, but without the crowd!

Established in 2015.

This is our second year in business, but the captain way more years of experience!

I grew up fishing off the coast of Fort Bragg, any chance we got, we would head over to the coast. I’ve always wanted to be a guide of some kind, but life pulled me in other directions, until a few years ago. My wife and two sons made our dream a reality and moved to Fort Bragg, and began our Charter boat business, Hooked on Mendo. We are excited to realize our dream and look forward to making memories with our customers.

Best fishing trip ever. Captain Justin and Steve were great. It felt like we were out fishing having a great time with friends in stead of a commercial charter. Not to mention we all limited on Rock fish and two away from limits on Ling’s. We’ll definitely be back

Even though I didn’t charter with them. I sent the Capt an email asking if they had a late minute opening. He responded within minutes. Unfortunately no opening. But he did work with me, to get me on another boat. He even called the other captain!!!

If you want limits and a good time, look for no other charter but Hooked on Mendo. Captain Justin and deckhand Kirk are amazing at what they do! I went on with Hooked on Mendo quiet a few times and had a great time EVERY TIME. The most amazing whale watching experience. Also, got our limits on our salmon expeditions. They sure do know how it’s done! Thumbs up!

I’ve been in this boat several times and it’s always been a blast Capt. Justin makes sure of it! We caught our limit on Salmon in 2hrs and limited out on rock fish in the afternoon. On another trip we got our limits of crab and when the salmon weren’t biting they changed out our gear so we could catch sand dabs. If the fish are there I’m confident Hooked on Mendo charters will find them. Great friendly Capt. And crew!

We’ve been on two trips so far with Captain Justin and his deckhand Kirk. We’ve done a crabbing/​whale watching combo and a salmon fishing trip! Both were outstanding! If you are going out you might as well go with the best and these guys are the BEST!!! Very knowledgeable and lots of fun!
