Casey’s General Store

This is the absolute worst convenience store along US-​41 in Gibson county. The gas prices are always at least 2 cents higher than right across the road at Hucks. The coffee is terrible. The pizza and sub sandwiches are nothing much either. The employees are not at all friendly and flat out dumb. One time, I ordered a BMT sandwich and the girl at the sandwich counter didn’t even know what is was let alone how to make it. Most of the time, they seem more concerned with going outside to smoke than being inside running the place. Many times I have pulled up when one of them is doing so and they look up and give me that «damn you» look.
Product selection is very limited and prices are too high for what is available.
A big minus is the lack of EBT accessibility. A friend has often tried making purchases that method only be told every time that they «still don’t take that» but «should be getting it anytime». This has been going on ever since the store opened about two years ago.
The only good thing I can say this place has to offer is a place to use the restroom if you need to in a hurry while pulling off the highway. Otherwise, the air hose is free if your tires are low.
