History

Established in 2004.

Heinsight Solutions began in Darren Hein’s home in 2004. He began to gain momentum and soon moved into its current location in Old Town Fort Collins. In 2008 Heinsight Solution became a certified 5 star dealer/​installer of Velux brand skylights, tubular skylights, roof windows and solar hot water systems.

Business Owner

Darren moved to Colorado from Iowa with his wife 17 years ago, looking for a new perspective. He discovered a love of the mountains, a strong, passionate family, and a deep commitment to community.

His began journey as a licensed roofer working along side local roofers and contractors. He soon found a passion for natural lighting and started Heinsight Solutions out of his home. In 2007 he moved the business to its current location in Old Town Fort Collins. Darren is proud to be the only Velux 5 star certified installer in Northern Colorado and Northern Wyoming.

He is actively involved with his community through the Sustainable Living Association and recently formulated a teacher co-​op to provide aspiring yoga, dance and martial art instructors a place to teach and network. Sustainability is his middle name and he strives to make a difference through energy efficient means and natural balance.
