Great donuts! Huge selection and super fresh. Staff is friendly and fast. There were close to 15 or 20 people in line, and I was in and out in less than 10. Cinnamon rolls are delicious(and HUGE)!

Service is usually friendly before 11 am. Ok donuts. 711 are my fav donuts though. So, the tables are usually dirty. Huge turn off. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. There donut cakes are cool though.

I love this place. Best donuts anywhere. My favorite is the raspberry Bismarck jelly filled donut. Coffee here is always fresh brewed. Friendly staff.

Best donuts in fort Collins for sure. Second only to Krispy Kreme overall. A little expensive per donut, but totally worth it.

Great donuts, every time! Please don’t let your teenage workers eat donuts beyond the counter when we come in… Kinda gross… Thanks.

Their donuts are really, really good, as is their service, but we recently went there, and we were the only ones in the place, yet every table was dirty… as was the floor. The three employees were just standing around talking instead of cleaning. It was a little off-putting.

Homemade yumminess. Service was great — they made a particular kind on request for us and added sprinkles for my kiddo.

Some of the best donuts I’ve ever had! The smoothie was delicious also — definitely try the mango smoothie. I’m not a coffee drinker so I can’t rate that but I’ve liked all the donuts I’ve tried so far! I would definitely go again and recommend them to a friend!

Think Shipley’s style donuts but done by a craftsman. They were well staffed and and had a good space. The variety of donuts was creative and well done. You could tell these were not your«Donut Palace» small town box mix donuts. They were fluffy, big, and had good flavor.

Came to check this place out based on the reviews. I got a few different donuts to taste — the maple bar, raspberry bismarck, devil’s food, and vanilla sprinkle donuts were all delicious, and it took a lot of self control to not eat all four in their entirety. The iced coffee, unfortunately, was very poor quality — a ton of grounds in it. But the donuts were a tasty treat!

So happy to find something 100 times better than Dunkin’ Donuts in this town! I’ve always loved a good donut and LaMar’s does them well. The apple spice donut is good as well as the cinammon twists. My only small problem with LaMar’s is that I went in for the first time and the guy asked if I wanted to start a LaMar’s rewards card. I did so he said that thre would be a free donut and a free drink on it the next time I came in. I was passing by the other day and figured I’d go get my free donut. I ended up getting more than one so I was expecting to spend money anyway. When I got to the register, I told the guy that I should have a free one on my card and he said I didn’t. I told him that it was the first time I used it and he apologized and said there wasn’t a free one on there. Oh well.

ONO donuts! The glaze are amazing as well as the maple bars. The donuts are good sized and they are reasonably priced. The cake donuts are also good but I prefer the glazed. The bear claws are also good and delicious. They have a loyalty rewards program that helps frequent donut buyers get free stuff. They are open for breakfast and lunch basically. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed. These are the best donuts in FoCo.

Neither bad nor overly impressive. It’s easy to be the city’s best donut shop when there isn’t any competition.

I love coming here for their chocolate glazed donuts! My favorite type. I really like their reward card too. I got a free donut out of it(first time users get that deal). In comparison though, they aren’t the best I ever had. I think Krispy Kreme(when I visited LA) is better when I get their original glazed donuts fresh.

No other donut in the world compares to a Rays Original Glazed… And I’ve tried a lot of donuts! It’s fluffy with the right amount of sweetness — so delicious. Plus, as of now, they deliver! Not the quickest delivery service, but it’s pretty cool to have donuts delivered to your meetings; who’s employee of the month now?

Honestly, it’s a sad state of affairs when a town the size of Fort Collins has but one real donut shop. Sure, there are plenty of prefab«bakeries” – like the frozen stuff you can get at the grocery stores or places like Panera or Corner Bakery. And there are also a couple places trying to do a more upscale version(e.g., French pastries – typically overpriced but underwhelming). That being said, Lamar’s is a really good place for a donut. Prices and selection are good, and the place is always clean and comfortable. They have a nice variety of your typical donut shop offerings as well as several oversized specialties – like bear claws and apple fritters. A couple of our favs are the standard, glazed old-fashioned and the crème-filled long john(key word here being«filled” – almost too much of a good thing!!). And, if you have little ones along, they have the requisite offerings smothered in multi-colored sprinkles. Don’t get me wrong – there’s absolutely nothing to complain about here. You shouldn’t have any trouble satisfying your donut cravings at Lamar’s. But still, I really yearn for a good, old-fashioned, local bakery where everything is made from scratch without all the trappings of franchising(except, of course, Krispy Kreme, but that’s a whole different donut!!).

Is it possible for a donut to be too fresh? ‘Cuz the thing I love the most about my favorite type of donut — old fashioned — is the satisfying crunch of the fried nooks and crannies … and I seriously have to let my Lamar’s old fashioned sour cream donuts sit out all day(if I can manage to) for them to develop that crunch. On the other hand, I have now come to appreciate the French crueller — no, it’s not meant to be a dry, hollow shell of a donut, but a crispy crenulated exterior with a custardy interior. Yum!
