Unity Cooperative Preschool (UCP) offers families the ability obtain an affordable, quality education for three, four and five-​year-​olds. We have a loving environment dedicated to the social and emotional growth of children. UCP is a child, parent, teacher cooperative and as such our families are encouraged to participate, share their talents and work closely with the teacher to support their child’s success in their first school experience.

We offer a music class once a week and starting this year, a yoga class for the children!

I cannot say enough good things about this preschool. My daughter attended 2 years and my son will start next year. Mrs. Pam is an amazing educator who has years and years of knowledge stored inside her so not only is she great with the kids but she is also good to go to for some of us parents needing advice. She teaches the children to be independent and to understand their self worth. She gets them ready for kindergarten but also prepares them for life. The class is a patient and respect filled environment that allows for the parents to be very involved. I loved knowing all the parents and all the children. Looking forward to more time spent there in the future.

We love Ms. Pam. So much. We have seen a wonderful improvement in our son since starting preschool. He is learning to do more for himself and I am learning to let him. I love that I get to be involved in the classroom and I love that Mrs. Pam lets them be kids! Fresh air! Free play! Choices! All while still holding them accountable.

Ms. Pam is a warm, nurturing preschool teacher with years of experience working with children. She creates a classroom environment that fosters the kids’ growing independence, communication skills, and ability to interact appropriately in a group setting. The schedule includes regular story time, activity centers, crafts, snacks, free play time outdoors, special field trips, and more. This preschool co-​op has helped my child develop, and furthermore has helped me to become a better parent.

This is a GREAT preschool! Little ones learn in a play-​based and kind environment and really thrive. Parents play an active role in their child’s learning experience and the kids learn important social and life skills. I have a five year old who was there last year and will go on to Kindergarten this year and a 3 year old who will start Unity in the Fall. Ms. Pam really knows how to foster autonomy in the preschool set. I have nothing but good things to say about our Unity experience.
