Fort Gratiot Middle School – PHASD

One of the better, if not the best, middle/​intermediate schools in the area. Good mix of classes, extracurricular options, etc. Wonderful band program that consistently performs well in state competitions. A great deal of work has happened to the school in the last decade, making an older set of buildings (The eastern-​most halls portion was originally built as Charles Gratiot Elementary, the Western half was the original middle school, with the gap between the two filled in over the years to make the modern Fort Gratiot Middle School) fairly well kept up/​updated. I’ve had two children go through this school, and have been pleased for the most part with quality of education and opportunity that they have received here.
