Great class, learned so much. Couldn’t imagine better instructors! We were a big class but every one got their one on one training. Not only I got the eyelash extension training, but I also got a lot of useful business information about the industry, and what products are best. Now I’m ready to take over the world. I attended the eyelash extensions training class about a month ago. The class was 90% talking about the different products used and the procedure of putting on the extensions. The last 30 min or so was when you actually got to do hands on lashing and they used a cheap 5 $ Styrofoam mannequin head and the 2 $ lashes you get at the beauty store. The trainers prob came by and checked on me for a total of 2 min. Go on you tube and you will get better training. I paid 500 $ to read a packet about eyelashes so be grateful I just saved you. To top it off I ordered a starter lash kit that was 200 $ and I was told it would come in 2 – 3 business days… the kit came in two and a half weeks and I had to call multiple times only to get attitudes and even in my email I got a rude response which I will post. The kit was very non impressive and it was things that prob totalled 100 $. And the containers with the eyelashes in them were cracked and damaged. They claimed they would send me a «we’re sorry we lied to you about shipping time» package. its a month later that never came. You get what you pay for brite spa academy is truly the bottom of the barrel I should’ve known better finding them off of Craig’s list. I had to watch several you tube videos even after I took this sham of a class. I just saved you 500 $. This is coming from an experienced nail tech of 8 years with a steady hand and artistic flair. So if you have no experience using accuracy with your hands don’t come looking here for help. Also they didn’t give us a certificate at the end they send it to your email for you to print yourself. I had the pleasure to meet J and Alissa from Brite Spa Academy at my eyelash extensions training in Fort Lauderdale. They both were great trainers and explained to us the entire business aspect and provided hands on training. We were provided manuals to refer to after training and also mannequin heads to practice at home. There was a lot of 1 on 1 time spent with each of us for better understanding of the process and all tools and materials were provided. Overall it was a great experience and I felt excited and confident enough to start lashing right after training… which I did :)
