History

Established in 2000.

South Florida Spine Clinic was founded in May of 2000 by Chief Medical Officer doctor Jeffrey Cantor, M.D., F.A.A.O.S. Since then, the practice has gained a reputation for excellence in managing painful disorders of the spine. South Florida Spine Clinic reinforced its global reputation as an innovator in 2011 when Dr. Jarrod Friedman, world-renowned leader in pain-management and author, joined the practice. Dr Friedman serves as Director of Management of Painful Disorders of the Spine.

For over 20 years, South Florida Spine Clinic has healed neck and back pain for people of all ages and occupations, helping them return to a functional, pain-free life. Our patients include professional athletes, those with complex injuries, and those suffering from multiple chronic diseases. Many patients travel from other states or countries. Quite a few work in the medical field themselves.

We are the preferred choice for those who choose not to accept «this is the best we can do» as the solution.

Specialty: Disorders and Surgery of the Spine

If you’re experiencing neck or back pain, Dr. Cantor can relate in a way few physicians can. Having had three back surgeries of his own, starting with a football injury at 16 and ending with his most recent back injury two years ago. While he’s doing great today, he can relate to what you’re experiencing.

Years of meticulous medical observation and teaching lab research have yielded the non-traditional methods Dr. Cantor and his team uses today to effectively solve a patient’s problem less invasively, with less loss of mobility and fewer negative outcomes.
