We specialize in delicious, vegan, comfort food made from scratch with organic, whole, intact ingredients. We believe a meal should nourish your body as well as your spirit through nutrition and flavor and are excited to be a healthy dining option in Fort Lauderdale offering crave-​able foods and attentive service in a relaxing, vintage ambiance.

History

Established in 2015.

Clovermint Café & Market began as a vegan catering company making vegan and gluten-​free food, using only whole ingredients that we would be happy to consume ourselves. We quickly grew and realized our need for a central location. The idea that we can create and operate an establishment that helps people as well as animals is a long held dream come true for many of our staff. The fact that we are part of a restaurant that we enjoy dining at as much as we enjoy working at is yet another dream realized. It took three years of experience building and 15 months before the location was ready and now that we are here, we are ecstatic to keep innovating and adding to the menu and location for your dining enjoyment!

Business Owner

Ann began her journey to Veganism at 11 years old when she became vegetarian. A decade later through unrelated circumstances and already Vegan, Ann fell ill and learned to heal herself with food which would bring her fully into the culinary world helping others transition to sustainably healthy diets that saved their health as well as the animals. Her experience in the vegan food and natural health worlds range in locale from New York & New Jersey to Gainesville, FL to home, South Florida and all have had a hand in creating the philosophy behind Clovermint. Ann believes food should be crave-​able and full of flavor and uses her experience and unique brand of self trained cooking to create meals that are satisfying out of whole, intact ingredients. She is firm in her beliefs that all food can be made delicious and a good meal therapeutic to a sick body or heart, in the integrity of her standards for flavor and service, and in her support of the rights of animals to live.
