Downtown Juice Factory 3 strikes and you are out!!! I have to admit I have been a fool to give this place time after time business. But honestly it is because it has always been convenient until now. Let’s just say that the business hours are supposed to be from 8:00am till 7:00pm according to their web site and that is not the case. Lately they are closing at 3pm. When I have called in the past to order they are always out of ingredients, not because of constant business but because it seems like whomever is in charge of ordering has no clue what they are doing. Honestly I am not sure how this place has survived for such a long time. The customer service is horrific. You have like 4 people standing around not doing anything and the food has gotten worse throughout the last few months. When you order a sandwich you are supposed to get a side salad not a couple of leafs. With the new smoothie king around the corner I will never drink a smoothie from there again. At the end of day the only person who is to blame is the owner for not having the intelligence to acknowledge what is really going on with his establishment. Downtown Juice Factory I think it is about time you hang it up.

I wish there was zero stars as that is how I would rate Downtown Juice Factory.
Here is the story — I work in the office building above. Everyone in my office (about 50 of us) have been to this place — we all have the same basic complaints. the staff is the worst and they are ALWAYS out of everything from fruits to make juices to items on the food menu. It is a disaster. I have literally been there — standing in a long line when they have told me «we are closing early because we are out of food!!!»
WHAT??? Are you kidding me. This place is a joke.
We all complain, but it is really one of the few places to go, which is why we have repeatedly tried to give them business as it is in our building …
BUT the last time I was in there … I witnessed the «owner/​manager» who is ALWAYS there with his baby … get very threatening with a customer who took some photos of the place… I watched this maniac attack this customer as if he were some casino pit boss threatening in some old style Vegas casino — to rip the camera film from the camera — he told the customer «I do not like anyone taking photos of my place.»
I will never go back there and I was shocked by how the manager/​owner (his name is Rudy) treated this guy who took a few photos of the café.
Strange on every level.
Food is marginal. Service is horrific and the owner is rude.

I stopped here for lunch and was impressed with the comfortable premises and the speed with which my order for a tuna melt went through; this place is luck of the draw because it has its regulars who are quick to order but also a lot of walk-​ins who hem and haw and ask questions which can be annoying since the menu is pretty sparse. All that said — the food is quite good but I’d have to return to up their «star quality» and I’m not sure how soon that will be as there simply quite a few just as good restaurants in the neighborhood that are substantially cheaper.

Really good tuna melt on ciabatta bread. Tuna salad had green apple and cranberries which made it a great mix with just the right amount of mayo.

Great smoothies and cool location. I wish they were open on weekends. The place has a cool vibe as well. The staff is always friendly and they have a lot of healthy options here. I will try their lunch soon and see how it is!

The place is nice and modern but the food is very expensive, the owner has a bad attitude, there is a big rotation of personnel, orders take forever, food was great but they start going down the hill… They change their policies very often, ex. Punching card for free smoothie to an app that does not work because there is no cell signal and the employees don’t know how to use it… There is no price value consistency.

I’ve been working in downtown Ft Laud for almost 2 years and just came across this quaint little juice bar. I’m happy that I finally found a healthy choice within walking distance from my office. Why didn’t I fine it sooner.

I’ve been to this place twice at lunch. While I like the food, the service is horrible. I ordered a turkey wrap in a spinach wrap. My fried ordered a salad, which was delivered to our table within 10 minutes. She had to ask the coffee she ordered to be brought (which happened the first time we went to this place too, apparently they assume no one drinks anything). Then she had to ask for the dressing that was supposed to be on her salad. She felt bad for having to ask for all this from a person who wasn’t a waiter, just supposed to deliver it to our table. She dug in assuming my wrap would appear momentarily. 10 minutes later, I went to the counter looking for my wrap. The lady at the register looked for the ticket and said «oh it is still here.» I said «ok, well, my friend is almost done eating.» Finally a box came out, even though I had ordered it «for here.» I took the bag and asked about my ice tea. The nice man went back in while I checked the box and sure enough it was not my order. So I handed it back, but at least I finally had my ice tea!
My friend finished her salad and coffee and the nice man came to clear her plates and we asked again about my wrap. He said «oh, let me check.» He didn’t come back. We went over to the counter and asked and the lady said «oh, number 24. Spinach wrap, he made it a sandwich before?» «No, it is supposed to be turkey spinach wrap he made something completely different before.» The girl next to me who apparently was having the same problem asked, «what about my tuna whole wheat wrap?» I looked in the bag and it was at least a spinach wrap, and I thought, who cares it has been 35 minutes and I am just going to go back to my office. I got to my desk and sure enough, it was a tuna wrap in a spinach wrap.
Yikes. It tasted good, but not worth it and certainly not for the prices they are charging. I would hope if you order ahead you might have a better shot of getting what you ordered and you aren’t waiting while your friends eat.

Small cozy place! They got a good selection of Juice, Smoothies, Salads, & Sandwiches! I got 2 juices ran me $ 17 but they tasted great! Pricey, but anything healthy is!

I stumbled in because I was working in the area… thinking it was a regular juice bar… go to find out they have amazingness on their menu! Had the coconut lemonade smoothie and a peanut butter and banana toast… awesome!

This is a great place if you are trying to transition into healthy eating habits. Juices are very good, the caprese sandwich is my favorite item there! Staff is friendly, and the décor is charming. They are opening up two more locations on Andrews Ave and Coral Springs. It does take them a while to complete your order once it’s placed, but it’s worth the wait when you try it.

Great healthy options! It is pricey, but quality comes at a price. The healthy green and pink lady smoothies are awesome. Sandwiches and salads are great too. Plenty of options depending on your taste and mood. The line can be long, so I usually call in my order ahead of time.

I recently started working in Downtown FTL, and Downtown Juice Factory caught my eye several days before I actually ventured in.
Offering made-​to-​order salads, sandwiches, and tons of juices and smoothies, I could definitely see myself spending oodles of time and money here. The place does a mean lunch business. Order-​taking can be a bit slow when there’s a line, and the food juices come out at a regular pace.
I opted for the spinach salad, which came with pears (they were out of strawberries), pecans, goat cheese, and I added chicken. It was delicious and filling. The chicken was freshly-​cooked, which was a great touch. Plus the dressing came on the side, which was great to be able to add as much (or as little) as I liked.
But seriously, everything that came out of the kitchen looked awesome, from the other salads to the sandwiches to the juices and smoothies. Prices are to be expected for a place that works with all fresh ingredients — everything, juices and smoothies included, run in the $ 7 – 12 range.
The proximity of Downtown Juice Factory to my office has me a bit worried about the damage I may inflict on my wallet. I know I’ll be back often!

I have very mixed feelings about this place. The pros: the food is generally good for breakfast and lunch. and if you’re looking for a treat, the espresso cupcake is AMAZING. overall the smoothies are good too, especially Banana Nuts. décor is very pleasant.
unfortunately there are many cons as well. for starters, as i saw in a couple other reviews, they randomly close early sometimes. on multiple occasions i’ve gone there around 4pm (an hour before their closing time) and the doors are locked and they say they’re just closing early for the day. not helpful for a 9 – 5 schedule if you’re looking for a late afternoon pick-​me-​up.
also i would avoid this place at all costs around lunch hour. the line is crazy, which is understandable, but i watched as my order was finally made and the guy behind the counter seemed to have absolutely no sense of urgency. it seems chaotic and unorganized… they really need to work on more efficient ways to handle a lunch rush.
this is minor: but i’m not used to cranberries and apples in a tuna melt. i was disappoitned in this item because of it. it’s just my preference, but if there are going to be unique ingredients in a sandwich i feel like those should be listed on the menu instead of just «DJF tuna mix»
lastly, which seems to be the consensus, the prices are way higher than what they should be.

Seems okay. Your usual small coffee shop, mixed into a corporate office building. Good environment inside, very comfortable feel. While the food looked good, I came in for a juice and a smoothie, after all it’s the smoothie factory. They juice was a very weird taste and the smoothie wasn’t that good either and kept giving me a weird feeling in my mouth and throat. As I sat down enjoying the environment I over heard an employing saying how all their smoothies are made with almond milk, healthy right? To bad I’m allergic to almonds. Granted I should take personal responsibility and I do, however I assumed it was made with regular milk. I know it’s not their fault but as a service based business they should make it easier for customers to be made aware of allergens in their food. Environment was good, good looked and smelled good but didn’t taste, as for the smoothie and juice, tasted blah and not worth the price tag.
If your bored stop by I guess, but not worth going out of your way.

Juice is actually really good. yes completely overpriced. What makes me the most mad is their card program. It clearly states on the card buy 3 get one free. So the girl behind the counter says «well actually its buy 4, because the first time you buy you don’t get a punch in the card you just get the card» Whaaaaat… am I missing something the card says buy 3 get one free… why would it be buy 4 and get one free. Total ripoff on something they probably found out that the average cost of the juice after the third one goes down to $ 6.70. Total ripoff and people should complain for deceptive business.
Other than that the place looks nice and the service was good.

Very cute café! Juice prices are not as expensive as most places. Although I didn’t try the food, from the looks at everyone else’s plate everything looked very fresh.
Ordered the green lemonade but it was very very very sour :(
Great place for a quick healthy bite. They close at 4:30 but the girl that helped me said they were going to start closing later!

Great new place in downtown Fort Lauderdale to grab a bite! Food, staff, and atmosphere are excellent!

This place is way overpriced for Board head deli meat. Yeah the bread is fresh and fancy and so are the drinks. But even the drinks are way too much, when you only get 3 fruits per drink and one of the three is not really fruit but fruit juice.
Back to the sandwiches, I ordered a turkey and cheese on sourdough with an add on, avocado. Word to the wise! Never serve avocado that has not ripened yet. It is like eating hard pieces of… anyway the avocado is more fresh at Subway. And that is really bad.
It has potential because of its little cute nook but don’t expect courteous service.

Bottom line: It‘s a smoothie and salad place.
The three stars is for during the rush hour lunch time. The place really is decked out with an earthy hipster concept. The color palate is vibrant. The seating is varied amongst indoor and outdoor seating, hi tops and low tops, a longer table for perhaps a larger party and a few chairs you might find at Pier 1 or Anthropology. The music is chill and relaxing.
But woah power lunch hour. All the foodies are at this place like bees in a hive. The line goes out the door, the tables fill up, and the employees look like a crazy cartoon in fastforward throwing together smoothies, salads, sandwiches, ice tea, cappacino… This possibly calm sanctuary for vegetarian hippies is a nut house full of high powered professionals.
If you’ve only got a short time for lunch, call way in advance and pre-​order. You also might want to pick up before 12 pm. When we first got in there wasn’t anyone in line, but there were so many to-​go orders it still took forever to get two salads. The guy that served our salad was very nice and apologetic, as he was looking overwhelmed by the daunting growing line. The salads were both pretty good. I had the tuna salad. Never thought about putting apple bits in tuna, but it was a surprisingly nice combination. The cappacino was good, but served in a very small cup, more like cortadito sized. Congrats to the owner for having such a thriving business, just not so great for a quick lunch.
