Edward A. Matson, Inc. was established in 1973. David Matson came to work for his father, Ed, in 1985. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, David, began working full-​time at Edward A. Matson, Inc. By 1995, David was the Vice President and General Manager of Edward A. Matson, Inc. In 2009, he took over the ownership of the Edward A. Matson, Inc.
