Did a great job in moving me from Florida to NJ. One chair was damaged, however they did the right thing and reimbursed me for the full amount it cost to fix it, even though I had not taken the extra insurance. Would definitely recommend.

Terrific service. Courteous and efficient, couldn’t have made a better choice. They arrived early, packed the remaining items (and whatever else I couldn’t pack myself) and cleared it in no time at all. The main mover (Alex) was so polite and helpful. He almost made it look easy. All considered, I still don’t like to move but this is about as close as it gets to making it a pleasant experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

My wife and I had to move last month to Miami, Florida to Brooklyn NY.
I have to say that these guys were life savers for me! I had to do everything in the last minute and not just that they were available for everything I asked. They responded with great service very quickly and gave me the best affordable price out of the 4 companies I talked with.
They made me feel tat everything is under control. The move was very easy and efficient. Nothing got damaged even with the rush. Everything got put in the right place where my wife wanted it to go, and my wife made it pretty hard for them lol…

I just used them for a long distance move and I can’t recommend enough. The quote came in exact, no extra charges at time of moving (which a lot of companies do– I recommend getting a site visit, not an online quote). Crew were professional, fast, and friendly.
The move out, which was not easy, was done in 4 hours, the move in, about 3! They arrived in my new location early, and placed things where I asked, unpacked fast, but carefully.
They are very thorough with documenting any damages before they wrap up, rightly so. Everything about this company was excellent!

Just completed a move with Forward Van Lines. They arrived early, they were efficient, nice, careful with my things, and much much cheaper than my last movers. A five star experience.

The movers at forward van lines really rock. Guy are Roei in the operations dept were great to work with. The movers were kind and courteous. The didn’t break a thing. Forward is definitely a 5 star moving company. I got exactly the service I paid for. Be honest about your list of items this will definitely keep you in your price range. Will definitely do business again with this company.

I just had Vincent, Tony B and Travis assist me with moving my 1 bedroom condo and I had a perfect experience with this company. Quick and efficient defiantly cost effective and worth every penny.

Yes, yes, I know, how can a company in one of the most sketchy industries rate 5 stars? By being professional and honest, and very fairly priced. Do not confuse the fine folks at Forward Moving with the ripoff company Moving Forward. Call Guy and his pro crew, including Alex, Hugo, Tank, etc… Our second whole house move in 15 months with Forward, both on time, no sneaky extra charges like other movers, packed our antiques like they were their Momma’s, everything else like we were we were moving cross country, even though just from Boca back to Lighthouse Point.
Let’s face face it, moving sucks. Big time. I have moved HOMES 13 times so I have painful memories: broken stuff, broken promises, missed dates, extra charge hostage taking, and worse. So, do yourself a favor and take the stress down a couple of notches and let these good folks move your stuff. Life is short, trust your move to guys you can trust. Check them out, no BS, I’m no shill, just a satisfied customer.

I relocated from Miami to CharlotteI wanted to thank you all for making this experience a pleasure. I have relocated about 7 times in the past 5 years with this one being the largest move of them all. From the first few calls with Nirva, to working with Roei on scheduling all my events to the delivery with Jay the entire process was with ease. I will be relocating again in a year and without a doubt will be working strictly with this team moving forward, In addition, there was a Hispanic gentleman that assisted at both the pick up and drop off that was amazing. He worked 3 times faster then all the other workers and probably handled most of the load himself. Without him we may have still been unloading today. Thank you once again for the ease of mind!

I’m a pro when it comes to relocating. I have done it 9 times so far. That is the job of a doctor. I used to relocate on my own. But it was always too hectic. Hiring moving companies didn’t seem to help much either. But Forward Vanlines was a whole different story. The best thing about this company was their moves. The crew I got was just so time and cost effective. They packed up everything and loaded the van in just 3 hours. I had the whole day allocated for the move. But it was over so soon. There were on issues on the way and all my valuables were delivered safely.

This company is excellent. Among all the choices I had to move my mom’s belongings from Florida to California they were the most reasonable with the best policies. They provided 30 days of free storage and delivered everything on time and unscathed. They were responsive to my concerns, reliable and followed through on everything they said they would do. A real find above the other outfits.

Moving is one of the most aggravating and stressful experiences in the world. Luckily, Forward Van Lines made it a lot less so. I was only moving a one bedroom apartment 3 miles away. But still, like anyone else, I had a lot of crap that needed to be moved. Plus, I had furniture that needed to be disassembled and reassembled.
I was impressed at the effort that they took to wrap everything, even for a short move. They put forth as much care as if it were a cross country move.
Forward did it all. They came when they were supposed to come. Packed up EVERYTHING, and then moved it with no problems. They reassembled the furniture, and put all my boxes where they were supposed to go.
I hope I don’t have to move again soon, but when I do, I’ll definitely use them again.

Awesome experience! These guys are efficient and honest! My quote was the same as I paid and they finished earlier than expected. Forward may be a little pricier than the other guys but, in this case, you definitely get what you pay for. Additionally, when it comes to moving your treasured items from state to state, isn’t it worth it to get the good stuff?
I was pretty nervous at the beginning of the process. I was so intimidated (given my history) at the thought of hiring Miami movers*, that I went back to my Chicago contacts to see if any of them could facilitate a move. No go. So, with a heavy heart, I started the process locally. I went through a bunch of calls and emails. A few of those turned into visits/​walk throughs, but… I didn’t feel comfortable. And then I met Guy. My first impression of him was that he wasn’t a BS kind of person. Yes, he was there to make a sale but he didn’t oversell. He didn’t overpromise. He treated me like a person and not a living ATM. I let him know my needs and concerns and we went through the process. Despite Forward not being my lowest bid (they might have been toward the top end), I went with them because I felt I could trust them. And in the stress factory that is a multi-​state move, you want to feel as though you can trust the people that have all of your prized possessions.
Guy was always accessible by email and phone and was prompt in answering my questions. His guys were on time to pick me up, courteous, professional, and fast. I lived in a Downtown high rise and that meant rules rules rules when it came to the elevator and everything else. It wasn’t an issue. The three man crew loaded, packed and organized my apartment with professional efficiency. I’d originally budgeted Forward to move my car as well. When Miami made sure I had no car to move, my bill was modified without question or incident. I also needed a specific delivery date and that happened without incident.
Only one of my SoFla guys made the drive to Nashville to deliver me but the Nashville crew was as awesome as the Miami crew. Alex, Ray and James were fast as lightning, delivered all my pieces, delivered all my pieces as they were packed, assembled the furniture they’d take apart, and put everything where I wanted to be. And, throughout the process, Guy and Roei called to make sure I was happy, their guys were working and that I had everything I needed. Home. I was finally home. Starting the process — and given my experience with Miami businesses** — I was terrified of this last effort. Thankfully, the team at Forward made sure that the end of my Miami life and the beginning of my Nashville one was a great experience.
*It should come as no surprise that Forward is a Fort Lauderdale business. I wasn’t about to trust this move to the 305.
**Again, I went with Fort Lauderdale. I was not leaving this to chance.

This is an update on a move from October 9^th, 2014.
We typed up the review after the movers packed up my mother’s apt in Fort Lauderdale, but not before the move was completed — BIG MISTAKE. What we thought was a dream move turned into a GIGANTIC NIGHTMARE.
When the movers arrived in Denver to unload the truck, we discovered that:
1. They had MISNUMBERED at least 50% of the boxes, so we could not check what was in fact being unloaded against the manifest.
2. Lamps, Pictures & Picture Frames, Priceless Antiques, Legs on Furnture, all had been BROKEN
3.THEY HAD LEFT FURNITURE IN FLORIDA APARTMENT IN CLOSETS which WE discovered after 10 days. Their movers insisted that all closets, etc. had been checked repeatedly.
4. Their customer service which had been so willing and prompt to work with us when we were booking the move would now not return phone calls; wouldn’t follow up on tracking missing furniture; and refused to take responsibility for negligent packing job by their employees.
Contrary to my previous review, I would not use, refer nor recommend Forward Van Lines to anyone in search of a local or long distance moving company.

I found Forward on Unilocal and was amazed by the reviews. Movers usually don’t have such positive reviews. Based on this, I had Forward move my daughter from her apartment when her lease was up. They came, gave her a quote and charged exactly as quoted. No games like some of the other companies called. They were on time on moving day and moved everything as agreed. All the furniture was wrapped and the couple of things that needed to be dismantled were properly reassembled on delivery. The crew was careful and professional. All of my daughter’s furniture was placed exactly where she asked. If you have to move, Forward was exactly as needed. I will be calling again when my daughter moves back out of the house!

10 Stars! I know that’s not an option but mentally multiply my 5 star rating by 2.
First, I want to thank my fellow Unilocalers that reviewed Forward Van Lines, because ultimately that’s how I found them.
I was moving from FL to MA, and needed my stuff packed carefully, stored and my precious baby (my car) shipped up to me, because I’m not one for making long distance drives.
Nirva, Roy and Ben helped me coordinate everything. They were so very professional and prompt with processing my down payment and getting all of the correct info to me and my mom.
On moving day, Mike, Dave and Travis came to move me out and they were awesome. So sweet and professional. They wrapped my furniture up perfectly (see my uploaded video) and moved me out in about 2 hours.
They worked super quick and well together. It put me at so much ease where I was able to kick back and watch TV on my IPad. And they were even friendly enough to laugh at my corny jokes. Score!
Forward Van Lines uses a contractor to transport vehicles called GLG Cars. He (can’t remember his name sorry) came the next day to the hotel I was staying at and picked up my car hassle free in the hotel parking lot.
About a week later my car was dropped off in front of my house just as nicely as could be. I was worried at how the drive would be from FL to MA, because of the weather, but all was well.
I am so very pleased with this company and they’re level of professionalism and exceptional customer service that I highly recommend them for your next move.

Forward Van Lines saved a disastrous move from happening!
I originally went with a different moving company because they were cheaper and with all the other costs of purchasing a home, I needed to save as much as I could. BAD IDEA. Those movers gave me inaccurate times for the move and almost left me with no movers a few hours before I was planning to move.
Forward Van Lines charged per hour for a crew of 4 men. I did a last minute scheduling for the same day, 3 hours later. I had to cancel because I was not given keys to the new place like I was promised. I rescheduled to the next day with no problems. They worked with my schedule and showed up early. They were professional and EXTREMELY efficient. They finished packing my 1 bedroom apartment with some furniture, a bunch of boxes, and an upright piano in about an hour. They moved it and everything was put back the way it was with no damages. Everything was done in 3 hours with another hour for travel (their minimum).
THANK YOU Forward Van Lines for making my moving process THAT much easier. I highly recommend this company!

We hired Forward Van Lines for a cross country move.
The pickup was very smooth and they packed all of our large items in big boxes for protection. We needed them on short notice and they delivered. So, all this sounds great, why only 2 stars?
I’ll tell you why. after waiting for nearly two weeks in our apartment, without our furniture, we decided to call to see what was going on. Chelsea was really nice and told me that the movers hadn’t even left Miami yet. I told her that Marcos, one of their movers had guaranteed the items within 13 days of the move-​in-​date. She transferred me to Amber and this is when things took a turn for the worst.
Amber was incredibly unprofessional and rude. She said that the movers had 18 days from the move-​in-​date according to DOT regulations. I told her that was great, but one of her employees promised my gf and me our stuff would be here in 13 days. She basically said that was our problem and they weren’t liable and were still in their time frame.
Long story short, the pickup and delivery went smoothly and the movers were all friendly. Chelsea, Nirva, Marcos, and Ofer all did an excellent job. But it was hell dealing with Amber and she really needs a course on customer service. Instead of being hostile and defensive when a customer has an issue she should be apologetic and understanding.
By the way, parts from our desk didn’t get delivered and after I notified them they said there was nothing they could do because those desk parts «weren’t listed on the inventory list» even though the desk was. I guess they just disappeared.
Also, the driver tried to charge me $ 200+ extra for a long move until I showed him the small print that said the first 250 feet were included in the quoted price.

I worked with Ashley Tramonte to coordinate our move last year (2013) when we moved to a new city about an hour away here in South Florida. From the first phone call until the move was completed, Ashley was extremely helpful! She helped coordinate the move from start to completion & was in constant communication all along the way. Her professional demeanor gave us confidence in their capabilities, and that confidence was proven on move day.
