History

Established in 2006.

Being in the hospitality industry for 15 years it was clear to see that our gondola would be a perfect fit in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. We are the only Authentic Gondola in The Venice of America and have been exploring the waters and canals here for 7 years, making memories for many people along the way. We are open 7 days a week and reservations are required.

What a wonderful find! My fiancé proposed on the gondola this month, and while the weather was somewhat gloomy, Martha made sure that everything was carried out as smoothly as my fiancé intended. She was accessible, patient, and overall just a pleasant person to deal with! She helped execute the proposal and even managed to capture photographs of this important moment for us! I strongly recommend Las Olas Gondola.

Just what we were looking for. Martha was a very nice captain for our peaceful journey down the canal. We ended up passing another «gondola» with serval passengers on it, and we could just feel the jealousy pouring out of their boat. There’s no reason to not go with these guys if that’s the kind of evening you are looking for. The motor is quite enough to give it a gondola feel. They were very accommodating too. They will schedule your outing whatever time you want. Very happy I found this company and made for a great idea for a date night.

My husband surprised me with a completely different and romantic plan. The gondola was an experience that surpassed our expectations.
We were provided with silverware and plates for a romantic picnic and ice for the champagne as we toured a gorgeous view.
TITO was our amazing guide to this romatic and novel experience; he tuned some romantic music and chipped in when we asked about the view and prices of such upscale real estate.
For any woman this is a very sweet and thoughtful idea. If you plan to be extra naughty book at night. However, a slow sunset gondola with a breathtaking view was exactly what we wanted.

Lived in S. Florida all my life and who knew we had gondola rides? Also, who knew Ft Lauderdale was considered «The Venice of America»??? Even so, after learning such new things i was really surprised by the experience.
Tito, our «gondolier,» took as many photos of us as we wanted before we left. Same after the ride. Very accommodating! My wife brought a bottle of wine, cheese and cupcakes to have during our 1 hr 15 min stroll up the inter-​coastal.
Our original reservation was rained out, so we didn’t get to do the sunset ride but our make-​up, late night ride around 9pm was perfect. Calm water. Private setting in the gondola. Tito played some soft classical love songs…
Want to thank my wife for the new experience. It really is amazing that after 10 years together and on my 33rd birthday, I can till be surprised.

Awesome! Excellent! Romantic! Informative! What more can I say about this organization and the gondola ride itself. Martha was the perfect captain and she informed us of some interesting and incredible facts about a few of the houses along the river. My wife really enjoyed it and when we she saw the «Message in a Bottle», she almost cried. Everything about this experience was absoutely fantastic and I recommend this ride to anyone looking for not only something to do on a special occasion, but also just to get away from it all.

Rave reviews for a wonderful experience on the Las Olas Gondala ride though the «Venice of Florida» waterways. We sipped champagne and listened to romantic Italian love songs while gliding through glamorous waterfront homes envisioning the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Our tour guide, Tito, was accommodating in every way and even took photos of us on our camera so that we now have our own personal keepsake of this beautiful day. What a perfect way to say «I love you» to that special person!

I came across this special boat ride online. This gondola tour was the perfect way to celebrate an anniversary evening with my boyfriend. He «found the message in a bottle» and enjoyed the Italian cruise. Captain Martha was extreme personable and informative about the area. She truly loves her job and made the experience better. I recommend this intimate experience as a way to celebrate an occasion or prepare for Italy!

This was a great find. Reasonably priced for 2 hours it was 200 $. They let me bring our dinner and champagne. They also did a message in the bottle for me so I could propose. Everything worked out perfect, including her saying «yes.»
I highly recommend. It was a perfect night. Tito did a fantastic job.
Only thing I longed for was to play my own playlist from my iPhone…

Great time!
My husband surprised me with a Gondola ride for Valentine’s day and it was perfect. We had our own personal tour of the beautiful waterfront homes and sites along the intracoastal waterway. The Gondola itself was adorable and we even had Italian love songs playing for us as background music. Our tour guides name was Martha and she was very nice and accommodating. She took pictures of us beforehand and told us interesting details about some of the houses and sites we saw along the way. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

We went up on a Saturday night for a 6:30pm ride for our Anniversary. I booked it a week and a half in advance and they kept me updated with even getting me a better time for the ride since they had a cancellation during the week. The boat captain greeted us, took photos of us before we departed and we set sail on out little adventure. We cruised eastbound down the New River as he pointed out some beautiful houses along the way. He gave little stories as some romantic music played in our little cabin. He talked to some people along the way the were on other boats or on land behind their houses. He had been doing this for a while and it showed. We headed back westbound just as the sun was setting and it was a beautiful ride back to the dock. It was a great evening and worth the money!

I loved this ride with my children. They wanted to go again on the ride the next night. The gondolier was friendly, and showed us great sights through out the ride. He also allowed us the enjoy the ride without a lot of chatter. I would definitely recommend this ride for everyone! Karen

I took my wife on a gondola ride for our 10 yr anniversary. We had a beautiful hour and half sunset cruise up and down the Ft. Lauderdale inter-​coastal. It was so romantic and relaxing. Captain Martha the boat captain was such a awesome lady and very accommodating. I highly recommend this experience for everyone in love! It a coolest gondola boat too! A slow romantic ride with someone you love, it doesn’t get any better! The Ft. Lauderdale inter-​coastal is the Venice of U.S.A. Beautiful homes and killer foliage up and down. As far as I’m concern the star rating isn’t high enough, this experience is 10 stars! p. s. I recommend a bottle of champagne or a nice wine for your ride.
