Looking for some new fun on the surf? Then you’re ready for standup paddle boarding. It looks like a Surf Board, but is much larger in width (31 inches) and length (12 feet) making it much easier to balance yourself. You can paddle on your knees or stand up. It’s great for play and exercise and we’ve taught people from 6 years old to people in their 80′s who are all very excited that they can learn this in no more than an hour. It’s so easy that we guarantee we’ll get you up or you can have your money back.

And we offer the perfect place to do it. Our waterfront location is conveniently located on the Middle River. We offer a full Menu of options. You can Surf in the ocean, Explore the river, Join our Full Moon Paddle or Glow in the Dark Paddles, Exercise with Yoga or Supilates, and our most popular and World Famous «Venice of America» Tour on the Intracoastal. Some people just take it easy on our many waterways, so we have every option you can think imagine.

With our crystal clear waters you can see everything from coral, plant life, mangroves, tropical birds, manatee, to all types of marine life. It’s an experience like no other.

A good example is only a hundred yards off our coast. This spectacular reef is visited the second most in the world being second only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia…

And we offer the perfect place to do it. Our Kiosk is Oceanfront at the famous Fort Lauderdale Beach with dozens of nearby shops and sidewalk cafes. If the ocean is a little choppy we have our private dock on the Intracoastal right around the corner from us.

Business Owner

Brian is a Florida Native born in Clearmont, FL and also spent 8 years in Jacksonville before moving to Richmond Virginia growing up and attending VCU! While he loved his Executive Position in VA he knew his true desire was to live near a tropical beach and actually gave a 5 year resignation notice before slecting Fort Lauderdale to begin a new life. Searching for a tropical job was a challenge that ended in an instance. The first year of business was spent studying Fort Lauderdale Beaches, Rivers, Ordinances, and Businesses in order to bring the best opportunity for success in the rapidly growing Paddleboard Industry. Sunrise Paddleboards then launched its first location at Beach Place knowing how important location is. The company has not looked back and has already been selected as «Best In Town» by a major TV Affiliate, who shot a video made for ABC TV, as seen on the Home Page.
