Additionally, The Academy offers Vocational Training Programs for Career Changers and Adult Learners looking to acquire technical skills for entry level employment in the IT Industry. We provide Job Placement Assistance to those who qualify.

The Academy’s mission is to provide students with first-​class education, actual hands-​on experience, and a unique, personalized «student experience.» Our goal is to ensure that each student obtains the proper tools needed to begin a career in the Information Technology field.

History

Established in 1999.

Historically, the school’s focus has been toward the adult learner who desires to change careers and is looking for a school that can accommodate their special needs.

The training strategy has been and is to teach these «career changers» the basics of networking and PC repair before they go on to Microsoft and/​or Cisco courses. By approaching training in this manner, The Academy ensures that the student has a solid foundation in the networking field and thus apply what they are learning to an actual network.

In the time since the school’s inception, the school’s individualized approach to learning has allowed many of the students to achieve both their career goal and the goal of The Academy for its graduates — success in the IT industry.
