Had a great meal there the other night with my girlfriend. Food was very tasty, service terrific. Our waiter was lively and fun. My girlfriend went back with some of her family members and she had another wonderful experience there. Will def. go back for more fine meals at Foxy Brown.

LOVE this restaurant! Some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life, and the waiter was super friendly and attentive. No complaints, I would highly recommend it and will for sure be back!

Not the best brunch I’ve ever had. Food was way too greasy. Banana bread grilled cheese was good.

I have been wanting to try Foxy Brown for a long time…1 there is just something cool about a restaurant chain who’s theme is ‘be nice,” 2. Just love saying FOXYBROWN… so we finally got out for a date night(Thanks to Karate America’s Ninja Night” and we decided to take advantage! We got there and the restaurant was pretty empty… wahoo for us because by the time we left, it was packed. Our waiter was super friendly and made us feel welcomed. They had some very delicious sounding specials and the servers were all very versed as I listened to them all rattle them off to their tables without stutter. We started with the pretzel bread. It came with 3 pretzel logs with the perfect amount of salt. It had deviled ham(my husband said it was very good) and a scoop beer cheese(very good), little sour pickles(thank you for not serving those sweet bluchy ones) and a grainy mustard. I hate when pretzel appetizers are served without a good mustard… Thanks Foxy Brown for not disappointing me. I had the shrimp and grilled peach arugula salad. Typically it comes with prosciutto and goat cheese(I don’t eat meat and I hate goat cheese) and they were very nice about altering this special. I will say, I was expecting the peaches to be a little better, but all in all the salad was delicious. My husband has the King fish special… it was a nice seared fish with 3 scallops and bok Choy. The server made sure to ask if the peanuts were okay, to make sure we heard them mentioned in the description of the special due to allergies! Good going! So important! He loved it and I think he only left over 1 grain of jasmine rice. My husband also ordered a side of macaroni and cheese. It is the only side that carries an extra charge… but my husband liked it. I like my mac n cheese a little less cheese saucy but it was okay. I saw that the rootbeer was on tap. It’s considered a fun soda(not hard rootbeer). It was one of the best rootbeer a I have ever had. Served icey cold from the draft, no ice to water it down. It rocked! My husband was drinking club soda and our server brought over a bottle for refills. Again no ice to water it down. It was cold and the ice in his glass was enough. We didn’t have dessert… we were too full. The think that keeps me from giving the 5 stars are the tables on top of each other. While comfortable, I felt like I was stuck in my table and when I got up like my butt was in my neighbor’s face, especially table next to us were 3 sitting at a table for 2. Will definitely return.

I’ve been driving by this place for a long time and tonight we finally decided to try it. What a great place. The service and the food were incredible. We started out with the pretzel bread, it came with beer cheese(real cheese not cheese soup), great home made mustard, ham hash, and some mini sour pickles. The meal. My wife had a peach and blackened tiger shrimp salad. I had fish and scallop dish with rice and baby bok choy served in a red curry sauce. We had one other thing«the mac and cheese». Did I mention the also have root beer on the tap. Foxy Brown is one foxy lady.

We were pretty let down after the stunning reviews of this place, not to mention the hour wait. The food all looks delicious but was mediocre to the palette. My poached eggs game boiled instead of soft so I asked for those to be redone and was annoyed they didn’t comp any part of my meal for the mistake and further 10 minute delay. Oh well. I got the foxy dip which was the tastiest thing of anything anyone ordered!

Wow! I’ll start straight to the point and say that the food is decently good but not amazing, mind you I came during dinner hour so I’m not sure how their brunch is; but the service pushed my stars over the edge and I rarely give 5 stars. It’s very difficult to find good food in the Fort Lauderdale area which I always express in all my reviews, because it’s true :/. The food here I have no complaints I had the deviled eggs which were pretty good, the prime rib special of the day pretty good also but it did have a lot of fat which i usually don’t mind more juicy, the green fries yummmmmm get those! And also the beef a roni which I was told was their top dish. It was good but not what I was expecting. They where so very accommodating to my boyfriends milk allergies, making his dish without milk ingredients, splitting my dish in half so that he can try some without the cheese, substituting sauces. Couldn’t be more thankful since a lot of places are not that accommodating. The service is so great, our waitress was very kind, helpful, attentive, the staff at the bar and hostesses when we entered and left all said hello and bye, they know how to provide great service and for me this is why they deserve the 5 stars. I will most absolutely be coming back here just to support and also for the green fries ;). You won’t regret going, I know I didn’t!

Good Food, Good Service, Amazzziiinnnggg bread pudding. Been here a couple times, and with the recent slew of mediocre restaurants that we have been visiting, made me crave this place, decided to review. Most recent time there, we came on a Monday, sat at the bar. The place was packed, and waitstaff extremely friendly. Boyfriend ordered a meat pasta dish, I had the steak special. Food portions are large, had to take it home. But the icing on the cake was the dessert. Oh goodness… it’s definitely the thing to order when cheating on your diet… so delicioussss. Need to come back soon!

Not much I can say that hasn’t already been said. It was delicious. Ordered the crab cake benedicts and the white chocolate raspberry pancakes. WOWZAAAA. Service was good. Server knew her menu. Yes, there is a wait, and the waiting area isn’t inside, which can get very hot in summer months. Wish they would take reservations. Pricing is decent. It’s not an expensive restaurant per-se, but things start adding up quick. It is still totally worth it. Those pancakes are going to get me back in there.

Service was horrendous. Bloody Mary’s were decent. Had high hopes for this place but unfortunately our server was very abrasive and was annoyed we ordered drinks at the bar while we waited for our seat. It was ridiculous. Wouldn’t return. Sure there’s better places.

I am in love with The Foxy Brown. Located just east of US1 on Broward Boulevard, it is on the north side of the road. When entering, you are immediately at the bar and there are tables along the wall. My favorite place to sit, by far, is the outside patio in the back. It is a bit overgrown and is a sanctuary compared to the metropolitan feel just a few feet away. I ended up there when I tried to be a vegetarian(I lasted 10 days) because I saw that they offered a vegetarian burger. Their vegetarian burger is THEBOMB. It’s a curried garbanzo bean patty with spicy mayo and veggies. It is so unbelievably delicious that I have ordered it past my vegetarian phase. It comes with a side of your choosing. I’ve had the deviled eggs and coleslaw, both delectable. I recently had their salad lunch special that had shrimp, pears, prosciutto, cheese and mixed greens. It is a salad that DEFINES summer. The pairing of the meat, fruit and cheese was masterful. I know I’m talking about a salad, but it is absolutely incredible. It wasn’t on their printed menu, so I’m not sure if they still offer it. That’s another thing about The Foxy Brown that I love; daily specials. It gives the chef a chance to be creative and if that salad is a representation of the quality of the specials, then I might be pried away from my favorite veggie burger. Side notes: Their music is AMAZING; it gives off such a cool vibe. The prosecco is my best friend there; I love the glass it’s served in. I can’t believe that I haven’t done brunch here yet. I can’t wait for the opportunity.

I wanted to like this place. The Brussel sprouts were so burnt I could barely eat them. The fish was so tiny. You can see my photo. I mean we are in FLORIDA! I ordered a mahi sandwich with sprouts. The gentleman waiting on us was very nice. My friend ordered some peach salad. He sad it was good except he was hungry after eating it. $ 16 salad you shouldn’t be hungry afterwards. Maybe they should offer a cheaper option and a more expensive larger size. This salad should be about $ 12. I did manage to see the people next to us order fish and chips. It looked plentiful so hmmm maybe my dish just wasn’t for me. Place was nice but not typical diner. I was expecting more hot sandwich options.

They open at 930 for Brunch but you best aim for 9am so you can get in on the first sitting. otherwise it will be a 20 minute wait. The plus side is they actually embrace the wait time by providing a spa water and a coffee stand to make the wait tolerable. Another tip is that the mimosas and bloody mary’s are not bottomless so if that’s your thing go somewhere else. I can say that the drinks are crafted here and are presented lovingly. The food is absolutely the star here and almost everything came out worthy of a photo. Even my normally camera shy hubby was snapping away to share with his friends. We ordered the Short Ribs and the Chicken and waffles. The crowd was made up of young couples, lots with babies and people getting ready to go to the beach. If I stayed closer, I would definitely need more hours in the gym!

Great Brunch! I went one day after running a 5k on the beach. Thank God it was still very very early and it wasn’t packed because it had just opened. But at 10 am we could see the line of people lining up outside. The food was great! Every plate was more beautiful and delicious than the next– not to mention the tasty mimosas. There were many flavor options from mango to regular. I have been to less expensive brunches in the area which include bottomless mimosas and bloody marys but this one was really nice as well. I think I would come a bit more it was a little cheaper but I really enjoyed it.

Foxy Brown is a place to try when in the Downtown, Ft. Lauderdale area. Every item on their menu is to die for! The number 1 item on the menu for me and my husband is their Mac-N-Cheese. It is a cheesy master piece, not sticky nor soupy, with a golden flaky curst. We crave this item from Foxy Brown very often. They also have delictible sandwiches. We usually order the chicken sandwhich that is topped with a Cole slaw made in house. All of their sandwiches can easily be split between two people. The staff is very friendly and answer any question you may have. It is a MUST try place!!!

I’ve been here on a few occasions while on business and I’m always blown away no matter what I order. They had a bone-in blackened ribeye with maitre’d butter not to long ago that melted in my mouth. I could have kept eating but would have needed help removing myself from the chair. It was so delicious I continue to tell people about, «That one time I had the best ribeye in Fort Lauderdale.» They also had some roasted Brussel sprouts that were cooked in soy sauce. I tried to duplicate the recipe at home and failed miserably. These were Brussel sprout perfection! The burrata was good but not outstanding which was okay because it saved more room for said ribeye. I’ve also tried their Italian Chopped Salad and their En Papillote on multiple occasions, coincidently one Snapper and one time Red Snapper. I love Snapper and am just an okay fan of Red. Both delicious! They cook the fish in paper with veggies and whatever else they decide to throw in the sack. It sounds weird but always delicious! I’ve tried the bread pudding for dessert but all the other options sound to-die-for as well. The atmosphere is secondary, but similar to the food it is comfortable, very very slightly trendy without being too upscale. It’s perfect! The bar has probably less than 10 seats and there aren’t many tables in the restaurant so I would recommend getting there early or grabbing some wine while you wait! Their wine list has a ton of amazing options from all over and not just California. The icing on the cake is Wednesdays their bottles are half price. They have some incredible reds for 40 – 50 bucks so half off is a steal! On this night be prepared to wait or come early around 6 – 6:30pm. The servers know their stuff and you can tell they also have a passion for the food which helps the experience! Highly recommend!!! I know they own other restaurants in the area so I cannot wait to check them out next time I’m in town.

I have been to Foxy Brown on two occasions. The first time I went was for brunch on a Sunday with my husband. We started off by ordering donut holes that came with fruity pebbles flavored milk for dipping! OMG I had never had cereal flavored milk for dipping donuts. I thought it was a new and out of the box concept, not to mention delicious. I ordered the short ribs Benedict with hollandaise sauce and chimichurri while my husband ordered the sweet potato pancakes with chicken tenders and peach marmalade. As is expected, a spouse will always try her spouse’s food and I must say all three orders were delicious. The second time I made it to Foxy Brown was for lunch hour. Having had such a great experience for brunch I expected to be blown away with their lunch menu. However, the options on their lunch menu on this particular Tuesday afternoon we’re not all that. I ordered the meatball grinder sandwich and a bowl of their French onion soup. Although the food was good, I was expecting to see more creative options for their lunch menu. I’ll definitely be back but it will be for brunch!

Our waiter greeted us and immediately suggested 4 mango mimosas — best decision ever. He then proceeded to go through the entire menu and told us what the house favs are(we were blown away by this friendliness — this never happens in the Northeast). We proceeded to order the«Plain Jane Pancakes,» the Banana Bread Grilled Cheese(best thing EVER), Fried Green Beans, Hanger Steak Hash, an Omelet, and the Short Rib Benedict — we ate EVERYTHING. Things were so delicious and every morsel needed to be consumed. It felt like our waiter KNEW exactly what we wanted — he even went out of his way to suggest where to go for Art Basel. If I lived in Fort Lauderdale I would brunch here all the time.

Oscuro y la comida no tiene nada de espectacular. Totalmente sobre evaluado. La atención fue buena aunque como llegamos temprano estaban contando el dinero al lado de nosotros.
