NJ location was opened by Varvara as a help for her friends/​stay home moms, who did their eyebrows in their free time, when kids went to sleep and the house is quiet.

She has changed my life! I have been on a brow journey after a botched job. My face literally looked like jekel and hyde; one brow higher than the other and one shape distorted from the other. My face now looks like a face! She has proportioned it out and tho we have not made it to the holy land… these brows are on their way. Cannot thank her enough and encourage those who are skeptical or hesitant for whatever reason to take the plunge. Her body of work is worth is weight in gold. I cannot praise or thank her enough. I feel like me again.

I can’t say enough about Varvara. She is an artist and pays great attention to detail. I have uneven brows; the hairs are long and sparse in areas, not to mention they each have their own shape. I have been to the cheaper places where you can get an okay job for under $ 10, and I have been to higher end places that charge $ 25 per threading appointment. They don’t even come close to the amazing work Varvara does. She has a gift; besides being stunning herself, she has the ability to give your eyebrows a shape that complements your facial structure and individual features. She spends as much time as she needs and she makes sure they are perfect. I have never spent so much money on my eyebrows before but I wish I had found Varvara earlier. Her work is priceless and I love her warm personality. If you are looking for the perfect brows but have had negative experiences in the past, please give Varvara a chance and I know you will leave wishing you had tried her earlier. She is simply the best!

I got my eyebrows done by Varvara today for the first time and all I can say is WOW! I had my 4 year old daughter with me and Varvara was very kind and sweet to her (and to me!) She did an amazing job on my brows. I had a mini consultation with her via email, where I sent her a selfie. She got me in really quickly too, within a week of my contacting her which was great.
Loved the experience and I am in love with my eyebrows for the first time! It is amazing how much a good brow changes your face. I live about 30 minutes away but it’s so worth the travel. She’s amazing and I am definitely coming back.

How incredibly professional was that response To my previous review? (She will probably remove or change) I have «background of emotional issues and ugly feelings Im fighting with, I’m not self-​sufficient and blame others» (projecting perhaps?) all because I left a review of her business on Unilocal and it’s not sitting well. Is Perfect corroboration!!! I REST MY CASE! the final thing ill say is the funny thing of it all is first of all, she still not seeing the issue and continues attacking me as a person (if it makes her feel better, i guess is fine with me), and second and last, is that both times i contacted her for service, I also contacted other businesses (both small and large scale) at the same time! is the name of the game; when you need something you look/​shop around to see who can and can’t, yet the other businesses didnt call back bitting my head off, (how dare i ask if they can see me same day? right? hmm) they simply responded with a «yes we can see you» or «no I’m sorry there is no availability» and that’s all it took! =) so glad not every business works like this one.

Truly amazing !!! Varvara is very modest and classy. I came a year being confident that only permanent make up can fix my eyebrows. Guess what, now with Varvara s magic I have brows I get complimented on and no needles !) my hairstylist explained that the fact that she wants you to grow your brows first says a lot.
Go and you will never even look in the threading place again

I think Vavara’s recent e-​mail below proves my point on her passive aggressive nature & unprofessionalism.
Unprovoked, she sent me the below out of the blue, months after our original exchange:
«Cindy:) hello, just came across ur profile pic, I see that u do threading and u can make urself a favor, instead of pointing my spelling mistakes, take my experience to make ur brows better. I have to say, u r pretty, I thought u r an old lady, who has and attitude of straightening out all around her, but was very pleased to see a charming smile on face book.
So bottom line is, I don’t care about my spelling, I care about energy and people who exchange it with me. I did some changes on my web and found ur comment :)
Trust me, it’s not influencing my work. For 20 years, I have enough to make my days full. And I don’t advertise, as u see only after 5 month I discovered it.
So drop all what happened via email, come, but grow ur brows for a month or 2 at least. Threading really permanently damages brows, I noticed that the top of ur brows is damaged, the bottom looks ok.
Come and don’t get more upset because of my email. Seriously, I honestly was not arrogant at all, but communication suffers when u don’t see this persons face, don’t hear tone of voice and don’t see what around and who around this person
We will fix ur brow shape, (I don’t say it will be fast, it can take 4 – 6 month) and may be we can become friends. I need one :) especially who can spell right

I went to Varvara with having grown my eyebrows out for over a month– and she did an incredible job on them. I have a scar that nobody has been able to conceal as well as Varvara, you literally don’t even know it’s there anymore. She really is amazing at what she does, and is worth the money. For perfect eyebrows contact Varvara you will not be disappointed :)

I went to see Varvara based on the reviews I read. I’m very picky with my eyebrows, I believe that eyebrows can change your look dramatically. I had a 2 day stopover in NYC and she was very accommodating and very nice. I spent 3 months growing out my very thin eyebrows due to years of threading and wanted full, thick nad nicely shapped eyebrows. She did a fantastic job and took her time to explain what she would like to do and areas that I need to grow-​out. She also took to the time to listen to how I wanted my eyebrows shaped. My eyebrows are a work in progress and I plan to see her again in a couple months. It’s quite pricey at 75 $ but she is definitely worth seeing.

First off, let me say Varvara is such a sweet lady! When I arrived she let me show her a picture of how I wanted my brows shaped, she asked questions, and even stopped in the middle of doing my brows to see if I was happy. I have been growing my eyebrows out for about two months and I wasn’t going to let just anyone do them (i.e. local nail salon, threading) and I am soooo happy I found her!!! Btw, my eyebrows are thick, sparse, and are difficult to tame. I would HIGHLY recommend Varvara!
She’s pricey, but it’s so worth it.

i have been growing out my eyebrows for two years and everytime i tried a new place i was always disappointed and would have to start from square one again with unhappy eyebrows. I have been only once by Varvara and cant believe how she shaped my eyebrows. I didnt even think it was possibe to have the shape she gave me. I cant wait to go again! yes it is a bit pricey but its better to go once a month by her then pay less and go weekly and have bad brows! worth every penny!
