this company advertises amendments for you to purchase that they claim will promote vigorous root growth, making it sound like you absolutely need this stuff to have your tree grow to optimum results. I ordered these amendments, but they were not shipped to me. when I called them and spoke to a «supervisor» to request a quick delivery of the missing items, I was told that they were a «small nursery», and only had a contract with fedex for ground shipping, not any overnight or two day service. I was then told that one of the amendments were «only potting soil», that I could buy in any «big box store». after wasting about 2 hours in an unsuccessful hunt for this «transplant fertilizer», I ended up buying 2 huge bags of amendments that I will only need about ¹⁄₁₀ of to plant my tree. totally unsatisfactory resolution to a problem that they created. I wasted time, gas and strength (I am 70 y/​o) to obtain something they should’ve shipped to me, since I bought it, and really dropped the ball to give any kind of customer service. I refused the offer of a $ 10 gift certificate for my «next purchase», because this was my first and last experience with

I just ordered a Cavendish Banana Tree and not only did it show up 3 days later than expected per the delivery notification, but it showed up in terrible condition. I have submitted a complaint with the company so we’ll see what happens, but out of the gate… there has to be better companies in my opinion.

Wish I would have read the terrible reviews before, would have save a great deal of aggravation. Product was shipped smaller than ordered and paid for, I needed to send pictures to prove and verify their mistake. They offered a reduction in price for a size of plant that did me no good and are useless. Also, the plants were rated for zone 5 and that was a lie, completely brown and dead after the first winter.
Waste of money, period!

This company has a huge selection to choose, but the trees they sent to me were not very good quality… I ordered seven eucalyptus trees, but three were dead one week after I got them. In addition, mango and kumquat trees have been not doing well… they may die soon (sad)…One olive tree has been growing very well, though. We have about 700 avocado trees on our property and other various kinds of fruit trees. So I know what I am doing… Anyway, I should have checked Unilocal first before I decided to purchase them from this company.

They advertise using pictures of full grown beautiful trees but what arrives are scrawny little trees maybe 3 feet tall.
I bought 3 trees from this company & found out this is how this company makes their money. 1 arrived dead & the other 2 trees are baby trees not as described at all.
Their sale prices are the regular prices I found at my local nursery.
I went to my local nursery & found 3 AMAZING 6 FOOT FRUIT TREES on sale with amazing foliage for only $ 25 each!
Fast growing trees also sold me 3 packs of a so called Premium Planting kit @ $ 9.95 which arrived missing the most important product «the fungi».
I found a similar product at my local nursery for only $ 6.95 for a huge bag big enough to plant the 3 trees I purchased.
When I complained about the dead tree they tried to get me to pay for shipping of the new tree. I yelled at the manager & she said she would send me a new tree free but lets see if I get another dead scrawny tree OR ANY TREE AT ALL!
Don’t be fooled by their ad that tries to get you to pay for insurance for dead trees. YOUR LOCAL NURSERY WILL GIVE YOU A FULL YEAR WARRANTY AT NO COST!

Every tree I bought from here died. Not one survived. I think they suffer from shock in transit and they never recover from that. So buy your trees locally and not from this company. They never answered any of my emails about their dead trees. Hard sell, poor service. Over promise and very much under-​deliver.

What a big disappointment. Stay away from Fast Growing Tree. I should have checked reviews first before ordering. I spent $ 125.00 for Autumn blaze Red Maple tree @ $ 90.00 and $ 25.00 for a Royal empress tree plus insurance .What I got is a twig with no leaves for Maple tree and 2 gallon soil with an inch growth of something. They scam people by sending worthless junk. I’ll make sure to tell friends and neighbor to stay away from this corrupt company. i hope they don’t stay in business.
Crooks don’t last too long. They should give refund to unsatisfied customers.
The bad reviews are true. Go to Lowe’s or Home Depot their plants are cheaper and you see what you get.

Ordered a tree, shipping took 1 week (tree in a box for 1 week).
I was excited to open the box, but what I got was NOT a tree they describe and paint in the /​what will I receive section, it was just ONE SINGLE STICK with some roots, with ZERO branches, ZERO leaves, ZERO life.
I tried to contact the customer service to express my dissatisfaction, but they kept trying to assure me that that is what trees are like at this time of year, etc.
That is fine, if they put up real pictures of STICKS on their site and GIVE people a choice of either buying a STICK for THAT much money or going to another tree site/​farm and buying an actual tree, that would be fine.
But I didn’t choose to buy a stick! My choice was the tree that they have in the description!
I can’t imagine if you order one of these «trees» as a gift and how disappointed would the receiver and buyer be!
Customer service promised to refund 50% of my shipping, but it hasn’t been done yet.
Beware that what you buy could be a stick, not a tree!

I had a couple of ok experiences with this company — they have a good selection and it’s convenient having stuff shipped to my door. But the plants are always disappointing — very small.
The most recent experience, however, is consistent with the bad reviews that I see on this site. They shipped me a dead plant. A dead, expensive plant. And rather than replace it they want to sell me an extended warranty. Given that they’re in the habit of shipping more dead plants it’s tough to pay them more money to sort the problem out.
Now that I’ve seen how they operate I won’t be buying from them again. Definitely not to be recommended.

We recently purchased 20 cypress trees from Fast-​Growing-​Trees. The order was filled and shipped promptly. When the trees arrived, we realized that they would not work for our landscaping needs. We called customer service and they graciously agreed to accept a return of the trees for a full, prompt refund. (They also offered us the option to keep the trees and accept a 50% refund.)
We are very happy with their service.

I was contacted by email and my issue was resolved to my satisfaction. The company gave me what I considered a fair credit for two of the plants that I had issues with (they partially refunded my credit card). So I basically ended up paying what I thought was a fair price for the plants since they were so small. I was fine with this resolution as I wanted to pay for the plants I received but not at the price that they had originally been sold to me for. I settled on what I thought was fair for both parties.
I also received a telephone call from someone at the company which I appreciated.
I think if you’re having issues with the plants that you received from them –if you contact them and be persistent they will try to come to a resolution.

Order 2 overpriced trees. My main problem is not getting any responds from them. Hopefully this third email will get their attention. I say this is bad service. Products could be much better and fair priced

Wellllll, jury’s still out.
Bad part is that the Willow Hybrid starts for the trees we received were basically 5 foot twigs. One had a few active buds, the other one had dried out stubs.
Predictably, the former stayed alive, although it has yet to really thrive as advertised, while the other died. To their credit, they did send a replacement, and it does seem to be a healthier twig (lol).
We’ll see how they fare over the next several months and will update our review at that time. To date, they seem sincere and responsive, but the promise of product has so far been unrealized.

Do not buy trees from this website. I bought 3 Sky Pencil Holly trees from Fast growing trees on the online website. The price was $ 40.46 per tree. Less then a week later the price dropped to 50% off. The trees are currently being sold at $ 26 per tree. I called the company to get a price guarantee and they refused, quoting ‘perishable goods’. They just lost all my business from my family and friends.

I paid $ 100 with a coupon for two skinny twigs of Crape Myrtle. They said the plant is in a 3 gallon bucket which was true but it was 17 inches tall. They could have placed this twig in a 1 gallon bucket but the 3 gallon bucket makes it appear like you were getting a plant root system that filled the bucket. They said retail value was $ 73.95. Very disappointed and would have gotten superior product at my local nursery

BEWARE of this company, they ship dead plants and then give you store credit and then ship you another dead plant and so on. a complete waste of time and money.
All their products are the most expensive online, just Google for other nurseries and you will find a lot more reliable, honest and much lower prices, I did that after being burnt and found 3 other decent suppliers.
Don’t be fooled by Google trusted store logo, this «Fast Growing Trees» company is experienced in pulling fast ones.
