I would not recommend either. I’ve pulled my child from their summer camp program because he came home in tears the first several days due to bullying. They keep older children with the younger children which, as we know, can be a recipe for disaster. He was told to tell the teachers to come to them with problems but when he did, the blame was put on him. Thinking this was a real issue with his behavior and trying to hold him accountable he was put on restrictions at home. Come to find out, this bullying did not stop even in the after school program. The teachers here allow arguments with children to escalate to violence with each other. I was even afraid to let him go on field trips because of the lack of supervision. The site coordinator and one male teacher are the only ones who I felt were helpful in working with him and the other children. He is now at another establishment where I’ve learned they have taken on several children that have been pulled from Flyers due to the bullying problem.
