Smuggler’s Cove Condominium

My friend recommended this place for my family and I when I was visiting Ft. Myers Beach. I’m so glad I listened to her, because the condo was great, and it was way better than staying in a hotel. We were right on the beach, and unlike other parts of the beach, it wasn’t overly crowded or noisy. They even have beach chairs to use if you’re in the mood to lounge around.
We grilled out one night, and played the large shuffle board another day. They even have a laundry room, which is great when you’re staying for a while. The unit we stayed in was very clean as well. I would stay here again.

I have family in ft. myers beach, so I’ve been coming here forever. Out of everywhere I’ve stayed on the island, Smuggler’s Cove is without a doubt my favorite.
It’s a little further down on the island, so it’s a bit quieter and more relaxed. It’s great whether you’re looking for a kid friendly place, or a place with space for a group of friends. Having a kitchen is a huge plus for our family, since eating out with a family of 6 for every meal isn’t cheap.
The condo’s are right on the beach, and each unit has a screened in porch with a view of the ocean. The condo also has a pool, which is always well maintained, a grill, and a rec room for large parties. We usually stay in unit 1A5, which is family owned, and the unit itself is always clean, welcoming, and has a cute, beachy feel. Also, there’s a pull out couch, so sleeping 6 isn’t a struggle.
Next time I get the chance to escape Chiberia and head down to sunny FL, I will without a doubt be staying here.
