Brightest Horizons Child Development Center

Nice little preschool (?). I have a literacy buddy there, so every couple months, the child gets to own a few new books.
The staff is super friendly and willing to walk you to the child’s class room so you can hand the kid their new swag. Only difference with this school and other schools I’ve been in (I used to work in one)? It’s in constant lock down.
Meaning, consider Brightest Horizon your preschooler’s neighbourhood gated community. You start off in the main office, and have to go down a long ramp to a gate (which is a very generic lifting lock). Through that gate you can go in several different directions. All ramps lead to another locking gate. When you reach your designated class room, that door is locked, from the inside. So the little cherubs can’t get out? I don’t know. But it was funny the first time I went there. I just wasn’t expecting all the locks.
