CBC did an inspection on a property for me and I was so impressed with how professional, organized and laser focused they were! They came highly recommended and I can see why. They did a complete and comprehensive report. I am very happy with the job they did and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Great job!

We used their team for two homes our family bought in the last few months. The team was very friendly and professional. They found problems with the AC in one of the houses that the AC company didn’t even find when they had looked it over. They came highly recommended from our realtor and are trusted with multi million dollar homes all over the area. I was extremely happy with everything they did and would recommend them to anyone looking for a thorough home inspector.

On the surface Comprehensive Building Consultants (CBC) appeared to be very professional with the fancy equipment and professional looking report. I cannot say they didn’t find anything but boy did they miss a lot of things that were just so plainly obvious. My sense of them is that they rely only on their fancy cameras and equipment and forget to simply open their eyes and ears to what is in plain sight and sound. I unfortunately was not able to be at the home for the inspection as my main residence was a plane flight away. As such, I put too much faith in CBC’s sales pitch and slick report. When I arrived at my new home the amount of issues missed was frankly shocking. Some of the issues were as simple as leaky faucets, broken appliances to more sophisticated issues like A/​C. I subsequently had to hire various vendors to find repair parts and fix the problems. When I complained to CBC, I not only didn’t get a satisfactory response but instead got this crazy tirade from a person who claimed to be the owner basically calling me a liar and suggesting I was stupid as well as suggesting that all (and I mean all) the vendors I was working with were incompetent and/​or scammers trying to take me for repairs that didn’t need to be done. It was the most unprofessional communication I have ever received in any business transaction that I have been involved in. I rated this company poorly not just for what I viewed as substandard work but the extremely unprofessional manner with which they handled my concerns.

Be careful — nice looking report, high tech equipment, but in the end no better than other inspectors (and a lot more expensive). Moreover, we needed to hire an electrician to find out the real story about the house and then a short time after the inspection we had to replace the A/​C. CBC denied any responsibility. I could go on, but caveat emptor
