Established in 2001.

Our experienced optometrists are ready to handle everything from emergency eye care to eye exams, from hard-​to-​fit contact lenses to computer vision problems, and from specialty lenses to eye infections. We make sure to keep up to date with the latest developments in eye care, prescription lenses and advances in contact lens technology, so that Dr. Sills and Associates can provide you with the best vision, advice and fit today – and in the years to come.

Meet the Business Owner

Richard S.

Business Owner

Dr. Richard Sills grew up in the Detroit suburbs. His uncle was an optometrist and helped develop an interest in this profession. Dr. Sills attended Michigan State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree and then attended Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1980.

Dr. Sills then decided to escape the cold winters and moved to Fort Myers, Florida where he has been practicing for about 30 years. He does eye exams, contact lens fittings, and treats eye infections and diseases.

Dr. Sills can speak Spanish and enjoys bicycling, yoga, and ballroom dancing.
