Echo Vintage Books & Vinyl Records

This is such a wonderful little shop.
I drove all the way from New Port Richey, FL to Fort Myers to meet a friend answer made a list of places to stop by and this was probably our favorite stop.
This little shop is inside an eclectic little house and is filled from top to bottom in books and vinyls. Each room was wall-​to-​wall stacked in books. It honestly felt like we went back in time. My friend found a handful of books he wanted to purchase. The shop keeps were helpful and friendly and even referred us to their online site which had an even larger selection.
This little shop is only open on the weekends but it’s a great stop for book and vinyl lovers. The prices were super fair, and because it’s a local shop, you’re helping a local business. I would definitely come again.

This place is so awesome! I went here one day just to explore, and browse around. I was so pleasantly surprised with the fantastic selection and how well preserved the older books were. They set fair prices, and when the dust jacket was falling apart the owner wrapped it for me free of charge. Definitely an awesome place to go for gifts.

I was delighted to find this rambling used book store during my work trip to Ft. Myers. It’s housed in a charming turn-​of-​the-​century home. The owners are charming, too. Old and older and absolutely antique hardbacks are stacked floor-​to-​ceiling. There are vinyl records too. Prices are fair and negotiable. May there be more of its kind in every town and city, forever and ever, amen.

When downtown make sure to stop at Echo. It was the neatest bookstore to get lost in, especially with stacks and stacks of rare, vintage and collectible books.
This is not a place you want to just go in and out but stay and peruse the shelves and explore every nook and cranny.
The nice lady that worked there was so kind and helpful.
They also have a great collection of vinyl records, if you’re into them, make sure to check them out! The parking on the side of the building is a little tiny/​tight so I parked across the street at the vintage store.
They also have vintage postcards and stamps! This was a great way to spend our Saturday afternoon and I can’t wait to go back!

Awesome spot. They have some really obscure book genres and searching through the shelves was a great time. Also picked up some records– very good selection, some are a bit expensive but that’s the norm nowadays as vinyl is making a big comeback

Awesome quaint store! Filled with millions of finds including books, cassettes, vinyl records, stamps, and so much more! Owner is extremely helpful and welcoming. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area.

This local bookstore and record store located in an old, historic home near the River District is a fun weekend destination. It’s the kind of bookstore made for patient browsing — one where you walk away with a book very different than one you might have come in wanting to find. The bookstore has limited hours, so make sure to go on a day that they are open.

Love this place! We visit here everytime we are in the Fort Myers area. This is no ordinary bookstore. It is a museum of vintage books and records. Some real gems can be found here. Highly recommend!
