Little hole in the wall spot. Very inexpensive. Paid $ 6 for a huge burrito! Food is very tasty. Doesn’t look like much from the outside. Highly recommend giving it a shot.

Places like these get overlooked easily and it’s a shame. I’ve drove by a few times not even sure if it was really open! Today I finally stop in and so glad I did. When you walk in you can smell the food and hear Spanish music on the radio. My boyfriend and I got some burritos and they were great. We were both full from just that and chips and salsa. The food was authentic as it gets! In and out in 20 minutes with a $ 14 total tab! I can’t wait I come back!

Ordered some nachos and a burrito with no meat. Both were very good! Especially when you add the house salsa Verde. The place is a cute little restaurant. Nothing fancy but not run down as others have suggested. Only took away one star because it was kind of busy and there’s only one server, waited a while to get her attention to ask for salsa. I was kind of bummed they didn’t have the Mexican corn anymore. Hopefully they’ll bring it back! We’ll definitely be back.

Cute place that we stopped in on our way from Fort Meyers airport to Naples. Smaller, family-owned atmosphere. Good portions. Carne asada was thin, lean and very flavorful. Enchiladas were good — carne asada ones were the favorite. Salsas were flavorful and spicy. Great stop!

Tradition with a Twist Tucked away in a small plaza next to a compact beauty salon resides an authentic Mexican restaurant that offers a menu item not all Mexican places offer. Heading south on US41 just past Battista Farms lies, Huarache Loco Grille. Filled with Spanish ambiences and a Mexican sandal hanging next to the kitchen door, the Flore’s family owned and operated joint provides all of your go to genuine dishes like tacos, tortas, burritos, enchiladas, and carne asada. Also providing traditional Mexican sodas and freshly made, natural flavored waters like their hibiscus flower water. But one item may stick out more than the others, the huarache. While some may have never heard the name, server Sindy Leon says«Where they are from, which is Santa Ana Maya Michoacan, Mexico, it is their traditional or main plate.» Encouraged by her mother and friends for making crazy good huaraches, Sandra Flores opened Huarache Loco with her husband in April of 2015. The name«huarache» derives from the shape of the masa and Mexican sandal. Topping the handmade corn tortilla the huarache comes packed with, locally grown chopped onions and cilantro, mozzarella cheese, and your choice of meat options, chicken, pastor con pina(pork with pineapple), steak, shredded beef, or chorizo. Leon later stated that what makes them unique rather than other restaurants is, others do not have this item on their menus, and they want to express a twist of the traditional Mexican menu while still containing the authenticity. «We started with mostly just tacos and huaraches, but the customers asked for more.» stated Flores. With a revamped menu, they offer a list of new additions such as the chile relleno. Which is a mild chili pepper stuffed with rice, queso fresco, beans, and corn tortillas. Prices are reasonable with tacos running $ 1.75 each, nicely sized tortas for $ 7.00, and on the weekends, menudo for $ 9.50. Prompted also by her mother whom owns a bakery in Mexico, Flores bakes fruit filled empanadas and cookies for a nice ending dessert or a tasty snack for the road.

This very unassuming Mexican restaurant packs a punch of euphoric, orgasmic flavors. At first glance, you may say, «this building looks like a run down liquor store in Detroit; there’s no way it can be good.» It’s often the«hole in the wall» restaurants that do it right, & do it well. This place is no different. So let’s get started with the review. While I’ve only tried one dish(this was my 1st time — that’s what she said), it was fantastic. To begin, you must pay around $ 3.50 for chips & salsa. I don’t think it comes with refills either(unsure), as they made it upon ordering it. It wasn’t much, & wouldn’t last 2 people, but I have to tell you, it was super good. It has some kick to it & is heated(temperature), so if you have a bland pallet & are the type of person who thinks a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy’s is hot, then you should 1) pick your vagina up off the floor, &2) don’t go inside, you don’t deserve to eat there. Moving on, I ordered the enchiladas morelianas. See my attached menu pic to read what that is. It was very good. I could taste the maseca in the tortilla, which I appreciated — that means someone in the back is putting in effort to make homemade tortillas. The rice & beans were on point, too. Also worth mentioning, the chips were good. Not greasy or salty, were strong, & complimented the salsa. I was given a squeeze bottle of salsa for my entrée, but I think it was hot salsa or something because my lips were on fire, but I’m into that kinda stuff, so I didn’t mind. I’d also like to give praise to the young girl working at the time. She was beyond friendly & helpful to me, & helped me practice my Spanish while ordering & interacting. The young man who took over her shift was also very nice & accommodating. I’ll also mention that the portions are on the smaller side, so choose your meals accordingly or double order certain things like tacos. My constructive criticism: The bar counter seating has a ledge to put your feet on, but it’s too high & squished in relation to the stools. You can’t comfortably dangle your feet off either because they awkwardly hit said ledge, pushing them back. I didn’t test the other floor-attached stools, but mine was very wobbly; I almost fell off when I first sat down, embarrassing myself. I’d get rid of all the stools, replace them, & scoot them back a bit, or get rid of the ledge underneath. This is a tiny, family run place, so don’t expect a full bar or lavish surroundings. When you walk into this place, you walk in for the food & friendly service. Will be going many more times.

Food was so fresh and well-seasoned! The salsa is on point. I had the burrito and my family also got the fajitas and pollo assado. All recommended. This place can go up against the awesome Mexican food from SoCal any day! The owner served us, likely bc it was the middle of the afternoon, and she was a sweetheart. They obviously really care about the food.

Food is excellent with a lot of menu items to choose from. We had enchiladas rojas and a chicken quesadillas, they arrived quickly and were very authentic. Service is cordial, helpful and extremely well versed on the ingredients of each dish and how its prepared. We enjoyed our dinner and will surely return.

te vas a quedar con hambre y con la billetera vacía. muy caros, muy, muy lentos, y muy mezquinos con la comida! the prices are high considering the location, service and the time you have to wait before getting served. extremely slow, even when restaurant is empty. the service also leaves much to be desired. you may leave hungry also.

Just had lunch here with my sister and my mom. We went in at 3 and it was empty except for one guy ordering for take out. The girl working the register(also the waitress) was really nice and friendly. The food was super variable. I ordered the sobe and a mini quesadilla and my mom and sister both had burritos. The sobe was delicious! Really good. Nice and crunchy. I had Al Pastor on my sobe, which was amazing. However, that was where the positives end. The food took forever to come. About 20 minutes. Maybe more, but I don’t want to exaggerate, but at least 20. For the long wait, the rest of our food was not great. My quesadilla was sparse and didn’t have onions or cilantro in it(when I told the waitress this, she informed me that the chefs never put onions and the menu is not updated. Then update it! I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew it was just meat and cheese!). The was not a lot of cheese or meat, so all around poor quesadilla. My mom’s burrito had literally one slice of avocado and barely any meat. My sister’s had a little more meat and avocado, but they both said that their meat(beef and chicken) was flavorless. Their hot sauce was good and they added that to give it flavor. And their burritos had way too much rice. At the end they were full because they ate so much rice. I gave it 2 stars because I think their tacos and fried things are good, but our experience was not good. I would have rather gone to Tijuana or La Bamba.

We stopped here on the way home from bonita springs. It is a tiny restaurant without any frills. My husband got the tacos which were tiny so order more than one order. The flavors were fresh and unexpected. I ordered the carnitas the daily special and they were delicious too. If you are looking for good mexican food then stop here but dont come in a suit because this place all about the food.

Stopped by today because cooking dinner was not in the picture for us! Glad we did! It’s not in the menu board but they DO have Rice & Beans & they were good! Also, you can order Chips & Salsa!!! It cost money but i love chips with my food! They were good and the salsa was good but I like the hot salsas better with the chips! I tried the Burrito today. Very big but light, which was great! My hubbie got his usual Tacos(pork w/pineapple) the best ones! The homemade juices are so delicious too!!! ADVISE: Ask what else they have that they off that is not on the menu because they are slowly adding more! Give them more time & this place will be AWSOME!!!
