Location is great everything else is one star. I think we had the loudest room [142], it was right on the road so we heard traffic all night, the tiki bar music until 11pm and to top that off the laundry room underneath our room so when we finally got to sleep we were awakened by washing machines bright and early.

For the price we paid I guess I got what I deserved. Cute colorful outdoor décor, but that’s it. Inside it’s plain which is fine but it’s rundown. Came during a cold week and the rooms have no heat. They showed no empathy towards my being cold in the room. All they said was«we don’t ever use heat» well it was cold! And parking was a joke they have about 100 rooms and about 40 spots, and they let regular bar patrons use hotel users parking. Even though they require you to put a permit in the window. They have paid parking across the street which they do reimburse you, but it’s just annoying to have to do it. then you gotta go upfront to get your reimbursement. Who wants to do that? The room is in a prime location, your a minute or two from the beach. However, the room was dirty and the pool is not heated! Oh not to mention little tiny ants in the bathroom & kitchen

We live locally & only spent 2 nights but loved this place. They were very friendly & helpful at check in. Let us use all facilities while waiting for room then called us when our room was ready.(Early). They even upgraded us to a suite! The price was awesome(Sept) Very clean although going through some remodeling. Also great fun music @ tiki bar! Very close to beach. Highly recommend ed!

Good location, in the heart of it all. Not on the beach, but a short 1 block walk! FREEPARKING for guests. Two nice pools with comfortable seating. Very AWESOMETIKIBAR and clean accessible bathrooms. Housekeepers very attentive. Front desk staff nice. Room was comfortable and clean. Kitchenette fairly stocked and had a wine opener, thank goodness(I forgot mine!). Decent shower, comfortable beds. I will stay here again for sure.

While we were driving down here I read the reviews others have posted and I began to panic! It’s an older beachside inn, so I decided not to have high expectations. When we got here, check-in was a breeze, the girl behind the desk was nice and helpful. Our room was super cute, old Florida style. King size bed with a tiny kitchen(rm 164). Right across from the tiki bar and next to a pool.(It was quiet and I didn’t hear the band or music). The bed was nice, not dirty or ripped sheets(as other reviews have said) and the bathroom was small and tidy. The place was clean, very bright and full of character. I didn’t see any bugs(which other reviewers say they did) and even if I had seen any, who cares, welcome to Florida! There’s bugs everywhere! The pools were nice, the tiki bar was cute and the place was a typical Florida Inn. I liked it! If you’re an animal lover there is a colony of kitties living on the property. Very friendly, and wouldn’t hurt anyone. I saw about 5 cats and petted a few. All were ear tagged, fixed and not a threat to anyone. So be nice to them if you see any! Overall, this place was adorable. It was a good location in the center of the entertainment. I would come back and stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Location is great…5 stars. You can’t charge food and beverage to your room. I had an awful smell in room 302 ’ s bathroom that wouldn’t go away. 7 burned out lights throughout the room. Broken chair on lanai that was n rigged and should have been thrown away. Housekeeper continuously slammed the door during service(10x). Let’s be honest… at $ 200 a night during off season I’m looking for flaws. I’m a hotel guy and I am underwelhmed. Pay attention to the detals.

I am giving it a one star rating because zero stars wasn’t an option. We booked the hotel several months prior to our trip only to realize we probably would have been better off sleeping in a dumpster, the beach or the high way ramp next to our room. The room had bugs hanging out(most likely having a better time than we were), stains on the sheets, comforter and chairs. The refrigerator had rust all over it as well as many parts of the«luxurious» bathroom. If you can avoid looking around at all that try to get a good nights rest– the walls and windows are PAPER thin. Want to watch TV to try and distract your gross out mind? Too bad– the TV looks more like an Atari game than an actual TV. To top this wonderful experience this«resort» provided we tried to switch rooms only to be shunned by the younger girl behind the desk who clearly got her degree in bitchiness and a minor in self entitlement. She proceeded to tell us we couldn’t switch rooms because when we originally booked our room they didn’t have the room available– then what was the point of our reservation? Then she said our room was an UPGRADE to what we originally paid for. An upgrade!!! A motel would have been an upgrade compared to this place.

Never ever stay at the lighthouse resort on fort Myers Beach, Omg this place sucks to high hell… Filthy filthy filthy, karaōke so load your bed bounced til three, shower at 5am from the room next door sounded like a jet plane and now drilling started on the wall outside our room before 8am… Unreal

We extended our stay from 2 nights to 4 nights. We loved it here. The resort is in the middle of everything and across the street from the beach. the Bar food is ok. The staff was wonderful. we will most definitely stay again… Cons: if you want to sleep most of the nights ask to be as far from the tiki bar as possible music until 2am!
