I always have trouble finding an employee who wants to help. The guys in the Samsung Experience don’t always know what they’re talking about. On a positive note, Best Buy has some cool stuff.

I don’t get the bad reviews. I have never had a bad experience at this store. They have a very helpful staff and have never had a problem returning anything. For electronics this is the place to go. My only complaint would be their selection of DVD’s is horribly small. Great store tho!

Terrible customer service. I have gone in three different times with cash in pocket to make big purchases and all three times I stood there for 30 minutes with no one coming to help me. Once I even grabbed a nearby associate and asked for help and he quickly informed me he was off the clock and walked away without finding someone to help me. Needless to say I bought my tv and laptop elsewhere. Not going back.

Without competition like Circuit City, Best Buy seems to have a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. They never seem to work hard to get your business, this store included. All the time I was in the store, it seemed that one person talked to me. I could see a few of them busy with customers so that’s good. I doubt they are incredibly knowledgeable, unless they bring that knowledge with them. The company would never provide it, so that they could do their jobs better and help consumers make better choices. I’m still indifferent to Geek Squad. Some employees are really good and others keep their section of floor from floating to the ceiling, which isn’t good for a technical person. Even installing a home theater system can be complicated. They need to be awake and aware. The store is fairly big, as Best Buy locations go, and they had the latest arrangement of Apple, Microsoft, and Samsung products.

Avoid this Best Buy, unless you feel the need to work off some guilt by suffering. Yet another of the stores that has moved to the Great Wall of Fort Smith. Located at the back of the worst parking lot I have ever seen, good luck making it to the store without getting into a wreck. Plus, they have down sized from the old store… so much less selection of music, DVDs, software, and it even seems like in electronics. It seems like they have decided to focus on appliances. Which, alas, does me no good whatsoever. Yet another example of the Great Wall Of Fort Smith epic fail fest.
