History
Established in 1959.
Yeager Hardware was founded in Van Buren, Arkansas in a tiny 3,600 sq. ft. building at 910 Boradway by Ernest Yeager. Ernest sold the store to his son, Ed, in 1982 and a new hardware/lumberyard was built in 1984 in Van Buren. A second location was added in Fort Smith in 1987. Yeager’s third store, a hardware store/lumberyard was opened in Fort Smith in 1992. The Greenwood store, also a hardware/lumberyard was opened in 2001. Ed’s daughters, Deborah and Karen became partners in the 1990’s. The 4th generation is now working at Yeagers, and we value your business more than ever.
