I unfortunately fit the cliché of a woman who doesn’t know anything about cars, so I’m always a little worried about getting ripped off at the mechanic; however, I’ve gone here for multiple things with my current car and been very pleased with each interaction.
The main guy that I’ve dealt with each time (John) seems both knowledgeable and honest and they can usually get my car in pretty quickly. Most impressive is that my car is actually ready when they say it’s going to be, almost always the same day I drop it off.
I haven’t shopped prices around a lot for the minor repairs I’ve needed, but they seem pretty fair and they even sometimes have coupons in local circulars. Most importantly, I feel like he’s only going to recommend services that my car actually needs. For example, my brakes were making a funny sound a few months ago and I brought the car in to see if it needed new brake pads, but it turns out there was just some rust on the rotors (or something like that), which he addressed very inexpensively and problem solved!
The waiting room is about what you’d expect for a small mechanic’s shop – certainly nothing fancy, but they do have free wi-​fi so you can work (or play) while you wait. Their hours are pretty standard, but you can drop off your car before or after hours using the key drop.
