Baskin-Robbins

What can you say? It is Baskin robbins. Solid ice cream served consistently. I wish they still had the baseball helmet bowls!

There’s nothing wrong with this place but also nothing special. I’ve had better ice cream, but the staff was friendly and handled the rush that came in well. They even let a few people sample who were having trouble making up their minds.
I just ordered a kid cone with Reese’s peanut butter cup ice cream. That was plenty to me since I’m not a huge ice cream fan. You could also order ice cream sandwiched between two cookies, which I bet was pretty good.
It’s a good fix for the ice cream craving.

I just can’t say enough about this location… my family loves going there. lots of choices for ice cream flavors. sundays banana splits… shakes. and I always get an ice cream cake for the family’s birthdays… I like the mint chip. staff is always great. and they have a drive thru at this location. so if you’re feeling lazy it’s pretty good. but a little tight for a big truck. 5 stars over all.

Usually my husband and I just go through the drive-​thru, but last night it was pretty backed up, so we went inside.
The inside is very clean! It is rather small, so if there were a lot of people inside it could get quite cramped and uncomfortable.
For the drive-​thru to be really backed up, our service was actually really fast! The employees are very helpful inside and immediately asked if we wanted to try a sample of anything.
I am a huge fan of the red velvet ice cream! There were a few flavors I had never known about when going through the drive-​thru. Not sure if I just haven’t paid attention to them, or if they simply are not on it, but either way I was glad we went inside.
I’m also a fan of the daiquiri ice flavor that I’ve never seen anywhere else!
Here in Fort Walton there really isn’t much to pick from when it comes to ice cream places, but we do really enjoy Baskin Robbins!

We came through the drive thru after dinner one night. I ordered a pistachio almond cup and the hubs a double scoop of the chocolate peanut butter on a cone.
Received our order and mine was wrong so I had to wait for her to rescoop. She did it without hesitation or frustration.
I thought mine had way too many almonds in it which overpowered the pistachio.
My husband didn’t enjoy his at all and for good reason. He asked me to taste it to see what I thought and it tasted like coffee… or worse. Didn’t taste close to peanut butter chocolate.
Oh well, that was a waste.

They give a military discount and ice cream was good, but on a sunny day there are no shades for the interior… this made it pretty uncomfortable. Recommend as a to go place.
