History

Established in 1998.

This business was originally a Singer Sewing Shop. When I purchased it I eventually changed brands and brought in fabric.

When I purchased the business I had made one quilt. I worked diligently to learn as much as I could. I apprenticed under the previous owner to learn repairs and sell machines. After 2 years I began transitioning to a new machine line and brining in fabric.

I have been wanting a new sewing machine for some time now. I have only ever used Brother sewing machines. So I wanted to stay with that brand. The sewing center is the store I went to.
Pauline is one of the associates I delt with. She was friendly and knowledgeable. What she didn’t know, she was willing to ask someone. She never tried to up sale me a more expensive machine. They also allow for layaway. I LOVE layaway.
They were more than willing to teach me about my new machine. If I quilted I would shop there all the time.

This was a great quilt shop. Tons of fabric to look through. Lots of Moda, some Amy Butler, etc. There was a lot of modern fabric and a great variety of color. Some patterns had samples made up in the shop, which I think always inspires. .I bought a pattern, a book, and a Moda jelly roll. There were several things I had admired online but just hadn’t bought, and they had them here.
Each month they have a color that is on sale. There were a lot of fabrics in the $ 5/​yd section to look at and some other items that were on a GREAT sale. I bought an entire table runner kit with fabrics and backing for $ 15.
The gentleman working, Bobby, was extremely polite and helpful. A great shop!
