What a joke! I call to try to get someone to come look at my roof and give me an estimate as I’m having bad water issues. I already got an estimate for approx 8k to fix some structural issues and replace the roof. The women that answered the phone argued with me because I couldn’t tell them if I needed a new roof or just a repair. That’s what I wanted them to tell me when they came out. They are supposed to be the roofing experts. I told them never mind! I guess I’ll give my $ 8,000 to someone else.

Used. Pj fitz for minor roof repaid as their ad in newspaper says, $ 249 .00. For replacement of 3 small shingles price was $ 249, about 20 minutes of work, also needed 2 vent pipe collar gaskets, I was told another $ 249.00, so total bill was $ 532.86 for under 1 hour of work. The newspaper add was misleading saying $ 249 for minor roof repair. I called and complained and they offered 10% off, so they knew they misled something. Both repair items should have been under 1 price for $ 249.!!

I just had my roof replaced by this company. The sales person Jim Brinch was a very helpful man. We met and talked over things. Then his supervisor came, another day, after the written estimate. Suddenly I was told it would be mandatory to have all gutters replaced. I know they are in business and want to get the price up.
However, not all needed to be replaced! I reluctantly agreed.
It took them a few attempts to get it started because of rain.
The initial roof went on without much delay.
Then, I was told that the roof over the porch was rotted and I needed to hire a carpenter. Hello! When were you going to inform me, that you as a roofing company could NOT fix the problem? You sure got your money for the project!
Can you imagine being told this after the fact?
SO, I had to hire an additional service for a few grand. This SHOULD have been discussed as a possible extra expense!
So more days went by and finally that was fixed. Communication definitely needs to be improved with this company !

Never EVER hire PJ Fitzpatrick to do work on your home. They refuse to do something as simple as an estimate if you are a woman and don’t have a husband or if the «man of the house» doesn’t make the final decision (or isn’t present for the estimate). Even if you are the only Owner, they refuse to work for the female in the house. How is this even a legal practice these days?! I don’t even have a husband and the woman on the phone refused to even set up an appointment for an estimate because I wouldn’t have a man present.
