I’m typically not the type to walk into a Starbucks and pay 20x more for my coffee than what I could make it myself. As a black coffee drinker, it typically costs $ 8 for a bag of Starbucks coffee which makes about 200 cups-and a tall black will cost $ 2. What? Opportunity cost I guess. Boyfriend on the other hand is one of the types that likes caffeine occasionally but not coffee. So we came in here before going to the Capital Wheel since we were both a tad chilly. It was January but not awful just quite yet. I ordered my tall black blonde roast-and then BF ordered the largest, sweetest, pinkest passion fruit iced tea concoction they make. The barista working(Tony?) was repeating the stuff back to him as he said it. «You want a venti? Yes please. You want passion fruit flavor? Yup. You want it for free?» UMSURE. He was so floored by the fact that either he won the free drink of the morning or was so adorable to the barista that he charmed him into free drinks. Hey, no harm, no foul. We weren’t complaining! Nice to share the love on a chilly January morning, so a few extra bucks went into the tip jar and some extra love went on Unilocal.Drinks had a little extra love-not hard to mess up a black coffee(one reason I like it, along with wine-hard to mess it up except underpouring). He said his drink was perfect-so at the end of the day we both walked away happy.

I don’t recommend coming here during ‘Christmas on the Potomac’. The line was 25 people deep easy and took 25 minutes to get to the front to order. The drinks were just fine(hot chocolate) but the wait was borderline unbearable. It isn’t the employees faults. Just the incredible barrage of people that kept barreling into the place.

I like that this place is conveniently located at the Harbor. I don’t know why Starbucks didn’t have a presence at the Harbor from the beginning. Anyway, it’s a nice Starbucks, but the reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the baristas can NOT make a decent Black Iced Tea Lemonade! I’ve had to ask several times if my drink could be remade and numerous visits. I think they need to be retrained. I have noticed lately that the baristas at the register have very short attention spans and they don’t already get your order right. And while we’re on the subject of not getting orders right, I signed up for the«order ahead» service with Starbucks. I went to pick up my order and saw my order receipt with my name on it on the counter. I walked up to the register to inquire about my order and the baristas were looking at me like they never received it. I told them that I just saw the order receipt on the counter only to be told that they’d run out of lemonade. So I got another drink, the berry refresher, which was not the best. So I won’t be using that feature anymore. Although they ran of of lemonade, there was no way to know that when I ordered from my phone and none of my other items were ready when I got there. All I can say is that this was a EPICFAIL! Overall, I think the baristas need to be better trained.

First time at this location, the person that rang up my items(not a drink) did not know how to handle an exchange properly and did not give me the receipt for my purchase as requested. I called the store later, the Manager apologized and was happy to try to rectify the error/mistake. I have not gone back to the store yet to get my receipt(may need since the items are gifts). Positive Very Nice Looking Store.

Awesome location. Fast service. Some baristas polite and great service. The one preparing coffees you get the cups dirty, wet, and sticky. Milk and water splashing everywhere.

Only food and coffee place in National Harbour that is open at 6am, 7 days a week. Amazing location, walking distance from the Gaylord Resort/Convention Center and the Potomac. The blonde lady manager is sharp and on her game. When we put in an order for a green tea latte and the barista accidentally made a chai tea latte and started arguing with us that the chai tea latte has no caffeine in it, the manager quickly cut in and said«don’t worry about it, I’m making you a new drink right now». Lines are usually long but move fast. They’ve got a pretty efficient line. Very impressed by management. Five stars.

Very good location, in National Harbor. The seating is sufficient and the servers keep the place clean. There is seating inside and out, though it gets a little chilly if you sit inside for over an hour. Which means the AC works great !!! So that’s a good thing. The place is always packed and has a good flow of people, this is not really a study or read type of Starbucks more of a «I look hot and want to be seen» or just people watch location. If you are a people watcher it’s a good location to sit and critique fashion. lol. The music selection was good. There are times when there is less of a crowd so you just have to be patient. If you are a guy there is lots of eye candy !! DRESSTOIMPRESS if visiting this location

I have to start this off with 5 stars. 1. its a Starbucks, 2. its at the National Harbor on the water, &3. it’s a Starbucks at the National Harbor. So when I saw the sign go up, coming soon, I couldn’t wait. And once we saw the sign, we’re open. We parked and rushed in. Couldn’t wait. One of my second offices is the Starbucks right up the hill at Tanger Outlets. This would be a nice addition to my Starbucks office locations. The seating on the outside is nice. The seating on the inside is actually a little congested. Although the space is good. If too many people sit at the bar the line will get stuck and jammed. I know, it happened to me. But they’ll work out those issues. But, today, there was no line. Nice! 5 star location, coffee and service. Today, They are loaded with employees. Has to be the most employees I’ve ever seen working at a Starbucks at one time. At least 10 people. The manager Sarah is awesome!
