I had biscuts and gravy, u get 2 biscuts aith cup of gravy, 2 biscuts with bowl of gravy, not enough biscut for bowl of gravy, and ask ed for and nouther biscut and was charged a dollar 4 it, a rip off ploy

Not usually one to write reviews but this Bob Evans has gone way downhill over the last year or so. I’ve had 3 meals here in the last 6 months, food is still the same quality, but the service is absolutely horrendous. Whoever is managing this restaurant needs to realize the quality of the service is turning this into a location where they will not have repeat customers.

First of all, no I don’t want to sit at the counter for lepers. If I did I would have sat there on not subjected myself to a putz like you. There’s a sad lack of booths in this place.
Waitress swore the tomato Basel soup was «really good». As far as that goes, it was pretty good.
I liked the strawberry lemonade. Not overpoweringly sweet like you get at some places.
I’m having the smokehouse chicken special.
Why do you have to choose only one type of bread? The picture shows an assortment. I picked blueberry — again pretty good — batting three for three.
Main dish arrives with the saddest excuse for a baked sweet potato I’ve ever seen. The cook should not have put this on the plate. The waitress should not have brought it to the table. I’m given a do-​it-​yourself setup of brown sugar and butter so there’s some hope. Barely passable.
Chicken is okay, nothing too remarkable one way or the other.
Chocolate sundae for desert due to weak choices given. It was not good. How do you wreck a chocolate sundae? Wow.
I’m going with three stars because some of the meal was good and it’s my best experience with a bob Evans.

Restaurant 0223. Order Number 146 457. Date 09/​30/​2013. Server Mahogany T.
Service was slow — took 40 minutes to get salad (ordered unlimited soup, salad, sandwich for $ 6.99). Server did not refill glasses unless we tracked her down and asked. Ordered one refill on the soup/​sandwich and waitress charged us for a second meal — yes, another $ 6.99! There were no tomatoes for the sandwiches but the server never mentioned they were out until we asked. Couldn’t find the manager anywhere. Went to pay the bill and the cashier said she was sorry the service was so bad. She removed the double billing on the meal, but offered no redress for the horrible service today. The table behind me also received horrible service, and the waitress comp’d their meal totally.
On my way out I made mention to about 12 people waiting to be seated that they might wish to try another place for lunch as the service is bad today. Business people have 1 hour for lunch, and should not experience the excessive delays we did today. 40 min to get salad. 50 min to get sandwich and soup. The Coventry Bob Evans needs re-​evaluate the staff and management if they expect to properly, and promptly, serve their customers.

Great service, the waitress stopped what she was doing once she saw I was seated in her section to take my order. I was impressed and glad she did because I was starving. She was really friendly and checked in on me enough where it wasn’t annoying.

Good old Bob’s. Love their Strawberry Banana Pancakes. For as busy as they were, there was not a long wait and good service.
