My gf likes it more than I. It’s ok IMO mostly visit here when we ride bikes downtown. Just kind of a visual downtown thing. Usually busy and offers outdoor seating.

A friend of mine local to the area took me here last night for dinner since I was passing through town. I’ve never been to the area, so I had no idea what to expect. When I saw the prices on the menu, I thought they were a little high, but then I realized it’s average for the area, and the pizza was well worth the price. The cheese was delcious and the crust was cooked just right. The gooey cheesy bread could have been a little better, each piece was only two bites, but still not bad.

If you’re looking for some of the best pizza in the Fort Wayne area you must check out this local favorite. The quick and friendly service never disappoints. This last visit I opted for the breadsticks and cheese as well as a grinder. The atmosphere is very chill, but if you plan on eating in during common meal times you may have to fight for a seat due to limited space.

Best pizza in the area! Great service also, oh and did I mention the pizza! Good location if your walking around downtown with a good beer selection. Reasonable prices for everything… Please go see for yourself

For a place that calls itself«Pint and Slice,» I was very disappointed. The pizza was uninspiring to put it nicely. The beer selection was… bottled, and maybe there were 15 choices, none of which caught my interest so I got a soda instead. I would recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

I’ve been coming to this place for 4 years pretty often… about a year now, they got really sloppy sometimes burnt or no cheese on the pizza! And to mention that they charge 25 damn dollars for a pepperoni pie and they put no care into it. For about the last few months they have been freezing their dough so the pizza is rubbery! I reached out to them via Twitter and they offered me 2 slices of pepperoni when they gave me a bad pizza that my family had to through away cause it looked like they dropped it upside down. If you want good quality pizza I would recommend the place down the street tucanis or Chevys pizza. ~Chris Ferrera

Pint and Slice is great for my diet! The pizza slices — though delicious — are tiny, and I leave there hungry every time!

Nice little pizza joint. Very friendly staff, great music mix, sports on the tv – what is not to like? Well the salad in a take out bowl with plastic silverware was very nice. Pizza is top end cafeteria grade but I liked my school pizza at the time. Great beer on tap makes everything else OK. This is the kind of place you just want to like in the food desert that is Ft Wayne…

This is an excellent place to have GREAT pizza and the 2 draft brews we had were also great. The local feel and interesting music combined with fantastic pizza will definitely keep me coming back.

I met with a client at the Pint and Slice back in early February. I have not spent much time in Fort Wayne, so when he suggested a good, casual meeting place that called itself«Pint and Slice» I was instantly sold. The atmosphere is great for a casual lunch meeting or(on a day off) a casual beer with my slice. I am pizza lover and having my girlfriend being from NYC and my best friend being from Chicago, I always torn in the middle of which type of pizza is the best. I have to say that I enjoy both and really enjoy the uniqueness that Indiana pizza has to bring to the table just to be in the running with the classic NYC or Chicago pizzas. Pint and Slice does exactly that. It is a quick, flavorful slice of pizza that does not taste like many other restaurants. I would call the crust a hand-tossed medium and i have the spinach and sausage slice. The room is small, but cozy and I really dug it. It definitely sets the tone of big city pizza joint without the price or hassle. The staff was overly amazing. I actually lost my receipt and called them and they were more than helpful in assisting me in getting a new copy. I know this may not seem like much, but in a job where I travel and tend to lose(or wash) my receipts I have realized that this a big deal when have helpful employees willing to take time out of their busy shifts to help a customer that has already paid and out the door. They were also fun to talk to and discuss the pizza and the different aspects about the restaurant and Fort Wayne I will definitely be visiting again.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Delicious slice of cheese and slice of veggie(loaded with veggies). Garlic bread was large and very cheesy. Yum!

816 is quite a local find. It is the perfect mix of local pizzeria and a craft beer bar. The pizza selection is large and creative. The dough was the perfectly chewy, warm, and pillowy and there were ample topping to choose from. In regards to their beer selection, it was smaller than I would have liked, but it only had high quality craft selections and there were more than you’d expect from a normal pizzeria. There isn’t much seating on the inside, and it’s kind of confusing whether or not you are supposed to order at the counter or with a waiter. It could definitely use a couple of signs to reduce the confusion. Overall, I will make a return trip and I will definitely recommend it to anyone in Fort Wayne.

Finally! A great restaurant super close by!!! I was planning on getting a pie and having leftovers and I was glad they had custom options. Since I don’t eat pork I went with spinach and garlic. It was ready in 15 minutes or so and the first taste was amazing. Being from Chicago I love my deep dish, but seriously this is amazing. The crust is light and airy, and it has fresh ingredients and the right amount of everything. Please do yourself a favor and try, get a whole pizza because you won’t be satisfied with one slice.

Having worked right across the street, Pint & Slice was a regular Friday lunch trip for me and my co-workers. The pizza and bread sticks are very good and always HOT. I never had a combination of toppings that I didn’t like. They are very reasonably priced, especially if you compare them to other local downtown restaurants. I can’t comment on the evening crowd, but during lunch it can get very busy. The line reaches out of the door at times. The downstairs can get pretty packed and you might think you’ll have to stand up and eat your food. Not to fear! There is an upstairs area that runs the length of the restaurant and I’ve never had a problem finding a table. The staff has always been friendly to me and I make it a point to stop in whenever I am in Fort Wayne.

My son and I go here every Friday night. The pizza and calzones are fantastic, and they have a great beer selection. There’s always a local craft brew on tap, usually Mad Anthony’s or Bell’s. Very relaxed atmosphere with a different Pandora station playing every time we go. Definitely my favorite Fort Wayne restaurant!

Just as the name implies. A slice of good pizza and a beer. It’s one of those things where you just want pizza and a beer. You know what I mean. You’re not looking for a super long stay and something fancy or specific. I just want pizza and beer! LOL. This is where you go. The pizza is very taste and they have a variety to choose from. Plus you can get many slices called a pie and take one to go! So, if you’re looking for pizza and a beer, stop here! Did I mention they have pizza and beer???

Love the pizza — dough is great, the toppings are just fantastic and the pint and slice special(1 slice/2 pints or 2 slices/1 pint for $ 8.16) is a no-brainer. They have special flavors for slices all the time, and if it has white sauce on it, don’t think about it, just GETIT because it will be awesome! Service is right on as well!
